It sure seems to come around fast.

Another week has flown by and we’re gearing up for a fun weekend.

It’s FINALLY our spring break next week. I just can’t get used to it not being attached to Easter. In the south it always comes either the week before or after, but out here in California it’s all Willy-nilly and shows up at some random time.

Easy weeknight dinner on the fly…

Ok, so it may look a little boring, but trust me

This jar of Simmer Sauce is the magic. I find it at Safeway and I think it’s their store brand, but I bet your local grocer offers something similar.

I keep Tilapia in the freezer, so all I had to do was thaw it out and cook it in a skillet, then add the sauce. It’s a no brainer. Add some rice and steamed broccoli and you won’t even feel guilty when you have dessert because you had a healthy dinner.

I popped into Nordstrom to make a return and off course I had to do a little browsing. I saw this jacket (which is more of a sweater weight) and thought it was darling…I was right.

Like my ponytail holder on my hand? HAHA! I pulled it out of my hair and forgot it was there.

The stripes look crazy on this top in the picture, but it was really cute and comfy. It’s a perfect fit for the weather right now that’s so in between and would look great with white jeans, and this jean jacket would be great to throw on over it.

 I’ve read about this jacket on several other blogs and they weren’t kidding.

It’s the most comfortable jean jacket I’ve ever had on and I’m adding it to my closet.

Katie and I have a big week of shopping planned for next week for prom dresses and several other dresses she needs for events associated with graduation.

If you hear screaming…it could be either one of us.
