What’s Up Wednesday

Happy hump day people!!!

This week is screaming by.

I’ve had this on my calendar every month this year to do and it always sneaks up on me and I miss it.

Well not this time!

Tilapia, Eggs (w/toast), Fish Tacos and Spinach salad with grilled chicken.

What I’m reminiscing about…

How this precious baby girl is just about ready to leave the nest. It just can’t be true.

Who knew 18 years would go by like 5 minutes.

What I’m loving…

This girl is finally done with school.

No more studying, projects, AP tests and no more STRESS…at least for the next 2 months.

What we’ve been up to…

Looking for bedding for the dorm.

Talk about exhausting. Katie doesn’t really like to shop (which leaves me wondering just how much of my DNA does she really have?) but she has definite ideas about what she wants, doesn’t want, likes and doesn’t like. This makes for challenging shopping let me just tell you.

She and her roommate decided they’d buy matching bedding so we finally found a couple of options on Zulily.

They decided to go with the bottom one and it’s ordered and being shipped to Nashville.

I love all the colors and they will be able to do a lot of fun accessorizing with it AND it will hopefully camouflage dirt and spills.

What I’m dreading…

I doubt I even have to say it. I’m dreading getting on a plane in August and coming back home with out this girl right here.

What I’m working on…

I think it’s time to replace our sofas so I’m starting to research and figure out just exactly what I (we) want.

I’m toying with the idea of a sectional in a lighter color so I can easily change up the look of the room.

Maybe something similar to this, but in a sectional…or maybe not?

What I’m excited about…

Growing my Rodan + Fields business!!!

I added my buddy Dawn to my list of PC’s this month…YIPPEE!!!

We’re turning back the hands of time!!!

What I’m watching/reading…

Well I’m not a big reader unless I’m by the pool and this summer I’ve only gotten to do that once so you can do the math there.

What I’m watching is the Olympic Swimming Trials and we are just way to excited that Townley Haas, a boy who swam on the same two teams with Benny (& Katie in summer swim) just made the US Olympic Team!!!!

He’s a real power house and it was SO INCREDIBLY FUN to watch him win 1st in the 200M Free last night.

What I’m listening to…

Still loving Thomas Rhett and wanting to get Blake Shelton’s new CD.

Yes, I’m old school and still like to buy CD’s as opposed to just downloading music.

What I’m wearing it…

It’s been being really hot this week with temperatures reaching the high 90’s and even hitting 100, so I’m keeping cool in these little numbers.

dress / sandals / black & white top / jeans / necklace / earrings

I’m also loving my new wedges I just recently got.

What I’m doing this weekend…

Well, that’s a good question. We don’t have much planned except for some friends are coming into town and we are going to lunch with them on Sunday.
