STRANDED – Movies Edition

WHAT??? We’re already STRANDED again?

It’s time to link up with Erika and Shay (who’s in China adopting a precious little girl).

This month we’re wondering, “What THREE movies would you want to have with you if you were stranded”?

I don’t know about you, but 2 immediately popped into my head and it wasn’t long before number 3 came to me as well.

If I’m going to be stranded on an island you can be sure I’m going to want only movies that will make me happy and laugh. Actually, whether I’m stranded or not those are the only movies I want to watch anyway. You won’t catch this girl watching horror films or action packed, edge of your seat drama. No sir, not me.

So what 3 movies would I want to watch on repeat? These are all movies that if I find them on TV, you can bet I’m staying right on that channel and watching them. And there’s just something fun about finding it on television even if you happen to already own it that makes it more fun to watch.

The Wedding Date

I LOVE this movie. If you haven’t seen it…please watch it.

Dermot Mulroney has the best lines in this movie and is just a dreamy guy! My family used to make fun of me because I bought it on DVD and would watch it all the time.

Miss Congeniality

I am a HUGE Sandra Bullock fan and I don’t care how many times I watch this movie, every time she walks out of that airplane hanger transformed into a “beauty contestant” and falls…it cracks me up. This is another one that if it’s on the television I have to stop and watch and eye rolls ensue from Kent.

The Proposal

I told you I was a huge Sandra Bullock fan. Throw Ryan Reynolds in there and well, you do the math. This is another one that cracks me up. Especially when she’s dancing around that campfire with Betty White and singing.

And while we’re at it, if by chance I was given a bonus movie to bring along, can you guess who would star in it???

Yep, Sandra would!

I really see a lot of myself in her character in this movie. A feisty-nurturer. I think that’s how you could describe me. I’m spirited, will have your back, and root for the underdog every time.

So what would your 3 movies be if you were going to be stranded and there was no Redbox on the island?
