Friday Favorites – Guess What Today Is?!?!

Hello Friday! So happy you’re here. I can now say it’s less than a week until we go to visit our kids in college. 

YIPPEE!!!

So since it’s Friday I know you’d be disappointed if we didn’t get right to the link up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea. It’s time to see what my favorites are for this week.

ONE

Call me crazy, but this totally excited me. I met a friend for coffee one morning this week and ordered a latte. I’ve seen pictures of lattes with designs in the cream on top, but never experienced it myself until this. How cute and I felt so cool drinking my fancy latte.

TWO

TODAY IS FINALLY THE DAY!!!

For months we’ve been hearing that Rodan and Fields is coming out with a new product. Not just a new product, but a revolutionary new product. The anticipation is killing me. Here’s what we know so far, A NEW PRODUCT like nothing else in the skincare industry – 2 years in the making, 5 years of clinical studies!!! and I can’t wait to see it announced later today.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. If you haven’t tried this paint out yet, you are missing out. I talked about it here. Every single time I open a new can I think “this is my favorite color” and then I get another can and think, “no, this is my favorite color”. Find something in your home that needs painted and go for it. If you need inspiration just look at Pinterest or check out my “I love painted furniture” board.

FOUR

Have you tried Cabbage Steaks yet? A friend of mine sent me a snapchat of some a couple of weeks ago and that peaked my interest so I thought I’d better try them.

I wasn’t really sure how these would be, but they were delicious. Roasting the cabbage makes it sweet. I added a drizzle of Balsamic Glaze before serving for another layer of flavor. I’m definitely making these again soon. Find the recipe I used on Pinterest by clicking here.

MY BIRTHDAY!!!

How old am I, you ask? A lady never tells her age, but I can tell you that after this one…the number will forever remain the same.
