Puffer Vest and Fleecy Shirt

My sister in law hit it out of the park this Christmas with this puffer vest. I absolutely love it. She purchased it at Old Navy and then had it monogrammed. I LOVE a beautiful monogram. Don’t you? Side note: The kids at Katie’s high school didn’t know what a monogram was out here in CA. Can you even believe that? She’d wear her monogram necklace (almost everyday) and the first few times they asked her if it was “a gang symbol”. Are you kidding me?

Anyway, I digress. Back to my monogrammed vest that I’m loving. I wear a vest almost on the daily so I have several, but now I find myself reaching for this cute thing frequently.

Naturally I reached for my favorite Lucky Booties yet again. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you I wear them at least 3-4 days a week (maybe more). And to think I hesitated when it came to ordering and keeping them…boy-o-boy am I glad I did. Oh, and did I mention they are ON SALE and come in 7 other colors? Mine are sesame nubuck.

Layered under my vest is an equally favorite item I talked about last week and several other times as well. This fleecy “sweatshirt”. I’m not really sure why it’s called a sweatshirt because it’s much thinner, but it is super soft and cozy. It hangs longer in the back to cover your bum, which I love and since I’m a real fan of gray and the way it goes with pretty much everything I’ve got nothing but love for this shirt. Perfect weight ✔ Drapeable ✔ Cozy ✔ On sale ✔✔

I love adding scarves and this one is super soft. It’s from Gap (last year) and they have similar ones this year as well. This one from Nordstrom has similar colors.

At 5′ 2-1/2″ it’s really hard to find jeans in the right length and I think my legs are short. These Old Navy jeans come in a “short” length and they are perfect on me and I love the distressing. I showed how I keep the distressing from growing in this post here.
