Happy Tuesday friends. Only 4 more days til’ my girl comes home. She is ready for a break. I’d love to say Benny was coming too, but he’s going to Honduras on a mission trip with the Engineering Dept. from school. They are going to do some survey work for an integrated playground project they’re helping with for an organization called Big Heart + Big Hands. It sounds like a really great organization and neat thing they’re doing. I think this trip will be different from some of the past ones he’s done because they are going to have a little more time to interact with the people. I have no doubt that my tender hearted boy will come back touched and having touched others. Please feel free to add him and the team of people he’s traveling with to your prayers Saturday and all next week while they’re gone.
I showed you this blouse {here} a few weeks ago. I had originally ordered a small and it was too big so I reordered it in an x-small. It does fit better, but I really wish it came in a petite. The peplum is on about every other blouse you see and really on trend for the spring and summer. This is a piece that will be great for transitioning from spring to summer and then summer to fall. Honestly it could almost be worn year round. I don’t think you’d want to wear it in the summer, but with a jacket it could go through the winter if you really wanted in a milder climate like ours.

These white jeans are yet another pair of Old Navy jeans. I’m telling y’all I really like their jeans and for the price, you can’t go wrong. I’d been looking for a skinny pair of white one’s that weren’t so tight through my thighs and finally found these. In case you don’t know, white jeans are not very forgiving if you have any cellulite on your legs. I’m just keepin’ it real here for y’all.
Look how cute these booties are!❤️ They will go with pretty much anything you want to wear them with. I think the versatility of them will be endless. Jeans✔️ Pants✔️ Dresses✔️ Skirts✔️ I’m going to guess some of you could even pull them off with shorts✔️. And if you happen to be on the shorter side like I am these will give you a little height and elongate your legs.

Here’s another look just switching out the jeans with these navy Harper pants also from Old Navy. This would be a great outfit for the office if you work outside the home. Word to the wise, if you tend to run between 2 sizes in pants like I do, you’ll want to go with your smaller size in these. In the jeans I go with my bigger size. I really like the way these pants fit and they are comfortable so if you are looking for work wear these would be perfect.
Yesterday I pulled out my spring and Easter decorations. I don’t have a ton of stuff, but it takes me quite a while to figure out just where I want to put things.
I’m linking up with Style Elixir for Style Sessions.

I love those booties... they look so cute! I'll definitely keep your son and his team in my prayers. And I'm so excited for you that your girly is coming home! Yay!!!
Thank you Jenny! Hope your week is going well!!!
Love it both ways! I just love peplum...on everyone else. I continue to purchase thinking eventually I will find a style that works for me. I'm super short waisted but also really thick through my hips and they always seem to hit right at the spot that makes me look super heavy. You, however, continue to rock the peplum!
Aw, thanks so much Shelly! I'm really short waisted too and you are right, it's super hard to find one's that hang properly. (they tend to get stuck on my backside ?) Keep trying, maybe you'll find just the right one. Oh the things we do for fashion!?
That's a great color on you! Old Navy always surprised me with great pieces!
Thank you Nicole. I know, they seem to vacillate...hit or miss, but lately I'm buying most of my pants there. Thanks for the comment?
Alright, now I need to try these white jeans because the pair I bought from ON fit so weird on my calves. Maybe this style will work! Thanks for sharing!
Oh no!!! I've got an old pair from there that are the straight cut and either one of my calves is bigger than other or the legs are sewn slightly different (I'm gonna' go with that) because they are tighter on one leg than the other...drives me nuts!!! Good luck!!!
This watercolor floral green peplum top is beautiful styled both ways but I especially love it with the white jeans and those pretty tan perforated booties. Looking great Lisa!
As a matter of fact, I featured this beautiful look on Thursday Moda today, come take a peak. ;-) And welcome by and join this week's linkup too, pretty lady. Thanks.
Thanks so much sweet Ada! I'll definitely your styling out. Happy Thursday!
