As a “would be” fashion blogger I’m learning about all sorts of things and paying attention to details that in the past might have slipped right by me. Okay, well maybe not completely. I’ve always liked considering myself stylish. It seems weird to say that about myself but you know what I mean.
Pantone is a company that specializes in color. As a matter of fact they are the gold standard and worldwide expert on color, so textile industries turn to them for the hot trends in color.
These are the “IT” colors of spring. Does that mean these are the only colors we’ll see. No, of course not. Are these the only colors you should wear? No, of course not. Are these colors you might want to try to weave into your wardrobe for spring. Well that’s totally up to you, but my answer is yes.
You already know I’m a big fan of the blush color as I shared in this post but I’d like to weave a lot of these colors into my wardrobe.
Walk around a department store, fabric store, furniture store or pretty much any retailer for that matter and you spot these colors.
1 // This Lush Surplice Camisole dress is adorable. I love the blue but it also comes in 3 other colors and at under $50 is a great deal. You could add a belt to it to change the look and it could easily be worn day into evening. A blazer on top is all you need to make it work appropriate then take it off for an evening out.
2 // These Sam Edelman Sandals have me swooning. I’ve always loved this strappy style and the hot pink color is gorgeous. Pair them with a cute dress or skinny jeans and a fun top.
3 // The smocked look of this Hinge shirred blouse adds cute detail as well as a pretty color. I’m a sucker for details and this blouse has plenty. The bottom even has the feeling of a cross between two more hot trends of ruffles and peplums.
4 // This BP Stripe Off the Shoulder blouse is a sunny option that can be worn with jeans or shorts and is a fun choice for spring to summer.
5 // Sole Society makes a lot of reasonably priced totes, purses and bags that are great dupes for more expensive counter parts. An easy way to accessorize your outfit.
6 // These Lucky Brand blush booties are so darn cute. Everything about them is on trend. Perforation✔️, Blush color✔️, low cut profile✔️ and if they are anything like my Lucky booties I’ve worn all winter then they are super comfortable.
7 // Seeing as how the off the shoulder trend is here to stay for at least one more season this Pleione orange number is perfect. If orange isn’t your color there are 5 more options to choose from. How cute would this be for a summer wedding?
8 // I love a good tunic and this Lush Roll Tab tunic is long enough to wear with leggings and cover your backside or wear it with jeans. It comes in a variety of colors and is on sale for under $30.
9 // Free People has so many cute options especially if you like the boho vibe. Their clothes are trendy and comfortable. Usually they’re also pricey, but this top is on sale and comes in a bunch of colors. Perfect for season changes and layering during the cooler months.
10 // A pair of Tory Burch flats definitely fall into the “splurge” category for me, but I love this shade of green. I’ve read a lot of bloggers who have them and say they’re really comfy.
11 // This Charles Henry off the shoulder dress is stunning. Another good choice for a summer wedding or maybe a class reunion to make all the other girls (and guys) jealous. Pair it with the Sam Edelman block heel sandals for a perfect look.
Which of these colors grab your eye? Which one(s) do you already own? Are there any that you don’t think you’d want to try?
Have a color filled day!
Lisa

I have seen so much blue and green in the stores so far this Spring. Spring? Is it really Spring?! I also saw a knock-off pair of the Sam Edelman heels in Target but they were black. I was thinking about going back and getting them!
I saw the black ones too...our store has them in a Robin's egg (kinda) blue and nude too and they have them online.?? Dang it...I ordered some stuff last night. I should've added these to that order?
