Today’s a big day around here at Coast to Coast.
One of my favorite things about blogging is the community I’m now a part of. Since starting my blog I’ve gotten to know and become friends with quite a few other bloggers. It’s really an awesome thing to have these people I’ve never met, but feel like they are truly friends in my life now.
One of the girls I communicate with pretty much on the daily is Allie. She’s a cutie wife, mom to two precious little kiddos , school teacher and the girl behind A Gal Named Al. She’s also the hostess with the mostess for Ladies Who Link. A monthly link up where each month has a specific topic. She recently asked me, Trina & Sara from Mom’s Coffee Date, Tara from Mommy In A Nutshell and Holly from Pink Lady if we’d like to join her in hosting and I didn’t even have to think about it before responding YES! Allie, Thank you for the opportunity to co-host.
This months topic is your favorite Target finds, so grab our graphic and add your link at the end of this post so we can see what your favorites from the bulls eye are.
I know I can’t be the only one who gets a little giddy when walking into Target and even more elated when I stumble upon a great deal.
When Target arrived in Richmond, VA where we lived when my kids were little it was so exciting. They had a food court with a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut in it and we’d meet friends for lunch almost weekly and then shop. Who’d of thought just going to Target would leave such sweet memories. I bet a lot of you mama’s out there can totally relate.
Target apparently has a schedule for their markdowns and many of you may have already seen a “pin” similar to this on Pinterest, but just in case you haven’t here’s some helpful information if you are a die hard bargain shopper.
Did you know the best place to find many of the markdowns is on the ends of aisles and around the perimeter of the store? I always like to cruise the outside of the store looking for deals.
So what are my personal favorite Target finds here of late?
I’ve already mentioned, Target is hitting it out of the park in the shoe department this spring and here are some of my favorites.
Target is a great place to shop for basics including tees and I’ve purchased several new ones this season.
Strappy tees are making their presence known. I love a tee that has a little personality and this one has plenty. The cross front and swingy body elevate it from basic to “hey look at me”.
I love this swing tee. The swingy bottom is cute and this one is a little shorter compared to the regular longer body tees you typically find. The fuller bottom is both flattering and forgiving especially if you happen to be on the shorter waisted side. Some of the longer tees that look great on you girls with long torsos just don’t do it on us girls who somewhat vertically challenged.
Check out this post for quite a few more cute shirt options from Target.
I think 99% of my sports bras are from Target. Actually mine and Katie’s both come from there. They fit great and wear like iron…in a good way?
This may sound weird, but just trust me on this one. My favorite sheets are these Fieldcrest sheets I get at Target. I wait and do my cruising around the clearance section to find them on sale, but guess what? You don’t have to wait, they’re on sale right now! They feel wonderful on your skin and are pretty to boot. If you’ve never tried them, I’m hear to tell ya’ that a good set of sheets makes crawling into bed at night that much better.
I was in Target earlier this week (shocking, I know) and they have so many great choices for pillows and home dec these days. It’s almost like having a baby Pottery Barn inside Target.
And last but certainly not least, I love the travel size section at Target.
Whether I am actually traveling, wanting to try a new product or looking for stocking stuffers, Easter basket goodies or care package loot this is a great row to hit up.
And I just had to come back and EDIT this post after reading several others who talked about CARTWHEEL…How could I forget to mention it??? I just did a post on my 10 favorite phone apps and naturally Cartwheel was on the list. You can read about it here.
Well that was certainly a lot of information.
So what are your favorite Target items? Share in the comments and let me know what I’m missing and if you’re a blogger add your link. Here’s the schedule for upcoming dates and topics. We’d love to have you join our party.
Happy Friday eve my friends.

I bought the straps tee after I saw it on your blog a few months ago and I absolutely love it!! My only wish is that it came in more colors! Gotta check out those sheets next!
Me too Laura...especially white. Love the sheets. Have a great weekend. (and that pic of you on Insta with the hair...I can totally relate??)
Their travel sizes are the best and I love that somethings are more unusual for like you said stocking stuffers or in little gift bags. That's what I got last night when I went, they have the best little gift bags in the dollar section they come two to a pack and I can decorate them up with stickers for a little fun gift giving surprise. I like to throw in candy and gift cards the for sweet ladies that work for me. Their new Bauble Bar jewelry line is so cute too and the shoes are so fabulous this year. Lots of cute dresses came in this week too, I get a darling full skirt midi dress last night. So much FUN!!
I can't wait to see you style the new dress? Have a great weekend!
Thanks for co-hosting! Did you ever get the pink raffia heels? I've been wanting to try micellar water, and now that I know it's in the travel bins, I'm going to definitely give it a try!
I never found them in my size? AND I saw a pic of one of my Nashville friends with them on the other day. I texted her to see if those were the same ones and they were. So cute! I did order a similar pair of Nine West, but haven't tried them on yet. I want to try the micellar water too. I had it in my cart and for some reason put it back.? Have a great weekend!
Totally did NOT know about the markdown tips! I suck at bargain hunting..just never can go often enough. And cartwheel..I was doing really good for awhile but I always forget to search ahead of time and then I end up scrambling in the store. But the throw pillows....goodness I have to have self control!
Oh my gosh...I'm so happy to know I actually was able to share with someone. I'm know for my bargain hunting capabilities. To quote my husband, "I can work a coupon". LOL Have a great weekend!
Thank you for sharing the markdown schedule- I never knew that! Appreciate it and will definitely be paying attention now :)
YES to the travel section!! Love that area, lol!!
Why are things in small bottles so fun?? Hahaha
Um... how have I missed those pink shoes?? They are fabulous. And as a former Target manager... I can still recite that markdown schedule ;)
I know...they are so cute. I couldn't find the pink in stores, only online and they didn't have my size. Insert crocodile tears here.
I can't believe I forgot to mention the sheets! I LOOOVVE Target sheets. They're the best.
Especially when you find them on CLEARANCE!!! I feel like I left lots of things out...we'll just have to do a "part 2"?
