Happy Friday my people. Yet another week of summer has come and gone. It’s been hot here and that’s okay with me. I like to know it’s really summer. I’ve been busy as usual this week. Katie and I continue to eat pretty clean and follow our workouts for the FASTer Way To Fat Loss. We’ve really gotten stronger. I had to buy yet another, heavier set of weights. There’s another round starting up on August 14th if you are interested in giving it a try.
Let’s jump ahead and find out what made the favorites this week.
You know I love a good funny and this is me to a T. Katie seems to be constantly telling me to stay focused, especially when we are working out. Whenever we have the slightest break between exercises I’m taking advantage of it and either checking email, folding laundry or something.
Multi-tasking is the name of my game.
Meet sweet little Leah. She made her entrance into the world Sunday. Remember yesterday when I shared the pie recipe I said I was taking dinner to our preachers family? Well you didn’t think I’d leave there without getting some sweet little snuggles did you? She’s a doll baby.
After reading Kellyann’s post on Makeup Meltdown and her recommendation of Urban Decay’s All Nighter, I went on the hunt for it. She said Nordstrom Rack had it and as luck would have it we have one close by. If you don’t have a Rack near you, you can also order it from Nordstrom. I got a variation of it called de-slick for oily skin and I’ve been liking the results. I don’t feel like I’m nearly as shiny by the afternoon as I usually am. Thanks for the recommendation beautiful friend!

That baby is so cute! Isn't it nice to hold them and then give them back? And seeing your sweet son and his girlfriend is so awesome. As moms that's what we want most I think - just to see our kids happy. And just so you know I told my youngest son that I love the term "bae" and I'm gonna start calling my husband my "bae"! Hahahahahaha, he flipped out and was like "No,no, no!"

She's really a doll. The small bottles showed they are regularly $15, but were $9.95 at Rack if you have access to one. They don't have it online. Have a great weekend! XO

Welcome home! Katie has used almost the entire jar. It does a good job, but I don't love the process. It makes your face pulsate and is a little bit of work to get off. That was my second or third time to use it...I think I'm done with it. Don't buy the largest jar you can find. I don't want to discourage you, just know what you're getting into?
Love everything in this post. I have been wanting to try that Garnier Micellar product, I always see it when I'm in Walgreens! The graphic is SO me. I don't think my mind ever rests and I am a total busy body. Lol! It sounds like you are enjoying your daughter time this summer! I hope to do fun things like that (working out, facials, etc.) with my little girl when she gets older.

Thanks Carrie! Get some of the Micellar, it's great (especially on lazy nights ;) We have had a ball and I'm so sad we are down to just 3 weeks. I was a little nervous about how her summer would go at home now that she's had a taste of "freedom". You hear tales of how it was such a struggle, but we've had a great time. She's actually had a traumatic summer in that there was a break up ? and a change in study abroad plans (as in she's not doing that now) so she was really happy to be home to have mom for comfort. Yay for me, boo for her❤️ Have a great weekend!
