Unless you’re really new around the blogoshpere than you’ve probably realized the biggest even of the year is about to start for all the fashion bloggers. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Now while I wouldn’t call myself a full fledged fashion blogger, I would definitely say I’m a wanna’ be fashion blogger in training.
I’ve spent some time going through the catalog online (since mine never showed up?) and started a list of things I like and you might too. We can get ready for fall and save a few dollars all at the same time. Once the sale starts there will be so much more available in the stores than the catalog shows. Katie and I plan to hit it Thursday and do our best to try things on to show you. In the mean time, here are some things that caught my eye. You can see what deals are available. The sale price is listed as well as the after sale price and color options. Trust this girl when I say if you even think you want something, order first, decide later. Repeat after me…order first, decide later.
Looks like long cardigans are going to be hanging around this fall and winter.
If I was a cashmere girl, I’d absolutely be adding this to my cart. Cashmere makes this girl itchy.
Ruffles and peplums are here for a little longer too.
This dress will be great for transition and winter. You can add tights or leggings and look super cute.
I plan to get this necklace in silver. I wear my gold one with a stone in it several days a week.
This is the perfect time to add a piece or two to your jewelry.
Cute sweatshirts with fun details. Who says dressing casual has to be boring?
Spring and summer trends carrying over to fall like bell sleeves and off the shoulder looks.
I’m planning to grab a pair of these. I love that heel is a little lower than 4″.
Great time to add some new shoes into your rotation. Booties, a sneaker and a cute flat are all shoes I love to have in my closet.
These thongs are a favorite among many. (Katie included)
A good quality bag is a great item to splurge on during this sale.
What did you see that YOU liked? I’d love for you to tell me in the comments. Just between you and me, this sale kind of freaks me out. The way things sell out so quickly and the sense of urgency I feel…well it’s a lot of retail pressure…LOL. Here’s the great thing. With Nordstrom’s easy return policy you can order until your little heart is content and then take your time deciding what prizes you will keep and what you will return for some other lucky shopper to find. You’ve also go to keep watching the website. If something you want sells out, don’t give up. They are continually restocking and things are being returned and become available.
Now what’s our motto? Order first, decide later. But please don’t tell your husband I gave you this advice. ?
Happy Monday and get to making your wish list.
Lisa

The crossover cuff is super cute!
I really like that too! (Shopping is partly why I love my R+F business...My own fun money?)
Whoohoo fun stuff! I'm not in love with everything in the catalog this year but you sure did pick some of my favorites! And a KS necklace must be mine, lol! Happy Monday pretty darlin'!
I feel the same, but I know I'll end up buying more than I should. Can't wait to see everyone's haul. I wonder how much we'll end up with the same. Great minds and all? XO
I absolutely LOVE my long KS necklace! I wear it all the time! And yay for cardigans and ponchos sticking around for another season!
Me too!!! I'm going to grab a long one for a gift to someone (can't say who?)
Nice round up Lisa! I am debating going to Nordstrom this weekend - the closest one is 2 hours away though. Not sure I really need to do that but I feel like I should. I would definitely call myself a wanna be fashion blogger! I just need a money tree in my backyard, lol!
Have a great Monday!
xo,
Kellyann
You are an awesome fashion blogger with a great sense of style!! I'd just order, order, order and then (free) ship back the rejects?? Can't wait to see what everyone gets
Oh my!! I don't think I can handle the pressure. To me, it will be more fun to see what the bloggers choose. But..I could use a pair of those Vince Camuto booties and those Caslon pants!! Lisa, I love your blog and your down to earth style!!
Kathy, I can't thank you enough for your sweet words. You should definitely treat yourself to both of those!!! Happy Tuesday! XO
I have yet to pick up a Kendra Scott piece, so I"m thinking that's a must with this sale! :)
I love my small one and my pendants!!! You can't go wrong, and probably should just get both to be on the safe side.?
