Happy 4th of July!!!
July snuck in over the weekend, and today it’s going to make a BANG!!! Are you ready? Do you have a cute, patriotic outfit all picked out to wear as you celebrate? I’m mean after all, even if it’s 1,000 degrees you still want to look cute while your sweating. (just in case you happen to be celebrating on the surface of the sun)

I’ve told y’all before that it’s pretty windy where we live a lot of the time and it’s super challenging to get a picture without the wind blown look. I picked up this super comfy swing dress at Old Navy a couple of weeks ago. The red and white is only available in limited sizing now, but it comes in 8 other options and currently on sale for $12.Without a doubt it is the perfect little summer dress.
I tied my favorite denim jacket around my waist for a little definition and because I always keep a jacket with me for restaurants, etc.. This Kut from the Kloth jacket is the softest denim and a perfect weight. It’s a little pricier for a “jean jacket” but I love it. If you are looking for one but not ready to invest as much there is one by the same maker currently on sale for 40% off.
I decided my Converse would be the perfect shoes for a really casual look, but it would be equally as cute with a cute pair of sandals. I’d wear my leopard sandals for a little less casual look.
Time to get to work on a few sweet treats for a cookout we’re having tonight.

Hi Cathy!!! Happy 4th to you too!! Thanks for the sweet words. I sized up to a medium in this dress (which I never do at Old Navy) It's cut smaller at the neck and arm holes. The medium is a couple of inches longer than the small was. Hope this helps!!!
