Hi friends and happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I hope so. We did. We got to visit a little more with our friends before they left on Saturday and yesterday was just a run of the mill Sunday. Even with having company I really didn’t take any pictures this weekend so it would be a really boring wrap up. Instead, let’s talk a little more about sale finds.
As I continue to check the Nordstrom website and consider things I still might want to order I see a lot of things that I either already have something similar or things Katie and I have ordered. If you are anything like I was for many years you may think shopping at Nordstrom is not within your budget. For a long time I never even bothered to cruise through Nordstrom when at the mall, but a couple of years ago that drastically changed. I started to see that like most retailers they always have things on sale and while yes, a lot of the items they carry I will never buy, I’ve found quite a few brands that are affordable, good quality and I really like.
The anniversary sale is the perfect opportunity to either try something new, give Nordstrom a chance or get yourself a well deserved treat.
I’ve rounded up just a few of the finds currently included in the sale and they are all under $50. Many things will already appear to be sold out but they will likely restock most items for the sale to go public on Friday and then things will continue to cycle in and out of stock so be sure to check the site frequently if something you want isn’t currently available.

1 – BP Lightweight cardigan – a long cardigan is a fall must have and this is just one of the many available. It’s a great weight and has pockets. We ordered it for Katie is an oatmeal color which is currently sold out.
2 – Vigoss distressed jeans – We have several pairs of jeans by this maker and they are some of our favorites. They are a great price point, comfortable and hold up well.
3 – Gibson cozy fleece bell sleeve top – I bought a top by this maker last year that’s made of the same material. It’s so soft and comfy and a favorite when I want to be cozy and still look cute and put together.
4 – Zella high waist capri leggings – I’m officially in love with these leggings. It seems like every blogger I know wears them and swears by them. Honestly, I ordered a pair last year and returned them because I didn’t like them but I decided to give them another shot and man-o-man am I glad I did. I’ve already placed my order for the long ones and Katie wanted a pair just like these after trying mine on. We are converts for sure.
5 – Free People split back turtleneck – This should pretty much sum it up…Katie refuses to wear turtlenecks and we both ordered this. Enough said.
6 – Chelsea Faux Leather Tote – Everyone needs a good tote for travel and “toting” stuff around during the day, especially if you have kids. This is a great looking tote to throw your wallet, computer and planner in and off you go.
7 – Initial Necklace – A darling initial necklace is the perfect accessory for casual days or dressier occasions.
8 – Leith Circle Cardigan – This is another great cardigan option. It’s also another one I ordered last year but even the x-small was too big so it went back. I regretted not keeping it all winter long and decided to try again. This years is cut slightly smaller and fits better and is a real winner. Love it!
9 – Caslon tee – Looking for a good basic tee? Here it is. Grab one to go with your new cardigans.
So have you been shopping the sale? What have you ordered? Did you find something I need to consider? Let me know in the comments…you know I don’t want to miss anything.
Happy Monday!
Lisa

Great picks and Many that I like too! I have been a little frustrated that some of my pics under 50 are sold out. There's so much in the sale that it has taken me days just to browse even with my early access. I made three orders and one was delivered already and I'm already returning three things! Oh well, you win some you lose some but it sure is fun to try.
Jo-Lynne suggest checking early Friday because they will restock for when it goes public. I've ordered an OBSCENE amount (not compared to some of the big dogs I'm sure) None of mine have rolled in yet, but there will be plenty of returning. I was able to pick one batch up at the store and loved quite a few things.❤️
Love the tote.

I should probably add it to my next order...LOL
Thanks for this! I got a burgundy cardigan in the sale last year and it is one of my absolute faves!

You're welcome! Thanks for reading and commenting. I got the burgundy also...not going to regret it like I did last year.?
I haven't started shopping yet. What. is. wrong. with. me? I think I get too overwhelmed with the sale.
It's crazy how panicked it makes me feel. Just wait til' Friday when it goes public and they restock?
I grabbed WAY too much stuff! lol I grabbed that dress that is under the cardigan in #8...it's so soft and actually thick enough to hide bumps.
OH ME TOO!!! I guess I'd better take another look at that dress?
I think $50 is a good price point and I try to stick with it when I'm browsing because I just don't need to invest much money in cold weather clothing. That FP turtleneck you and Katie got is super cute and had you not shown it on your blog I'd have never given it a second look, you two did a better job showing it than the model! I did end up placing 3 orders and now I'm waiting, waiting, waiting!

My first box just got here...I think I may have over done the blush color. hahaha. Can you say RETURN! Thanks for the sweet comment about the FP turtleneck. It's a great transition weight. Looking forward to seeing what you ordered!!! XOXO
I totally agree that in the last few years it has been possible to find less expensive items at Nordies. While I'm not shopping the sale this year, I am excited to see what everyone picks up! xx Rox-Anne Celebrating This Life
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I'm going to have to make some hard decisions and hopefully regrets don't follow. ;)
Great finds. I found a couple Under Armour tops that I'm saving for back to school. And then I picked up the smaller "blardigan" for my Mom for Christmas. I've been so good this year with the sale. There wasn't anything I had to have this year... which my husband appreciates. ;)
Good for you! Your mom will love that. I know I'm going to be returning a lot, but I have to satisfy own curiosity about things so I can quit thinking about them? Happy Monday!
Great picks!! The turtleneck looks so cozy....might have to add that to my list!
Thanks Melissa! It's going to be a great transition piece and I'll be able to wear it all winter here in CA.
That circle cardigan is super cute! I'm not a Nordstrom fan but have been shopping TJs and Marshalls lately and always end up leaving with something for the kids for back to school and nothing for me! Hope you had a great start to your week!
I think you are my younger self. I was a huge TJ Maxx and Marshalls shopper and still stop in frequently. It's so hit or miss for women. I LOVE all the housewares and almost always get my purses there. XO
