Hey there y’all. I haven’t done a Show and Tell link up in quite a while so this week I decided to jump on the band wagon. I’m linking up with Andrea to talk about “What’s On Your Phone”. I don’t know about you, but I’m rarely more than 2 feet away from my phone. Part of me is embarrassed to say that, but it’s the truth. I think I’m part of the generation who has either totally embraced this technology or is riding the fence and uses it but not to the fullest.
The last 5 years since our kids started college is when I became so attached to my phone. I never want to be someplace that they can’t get a hold of me if they need me for something be it important or just to tell me something funny.
What do you use your phone for the most? I love that I always have a camera with me in the form of my phone and never have to worry about capturing special moments.
My phone is full of random pictures from recipe screen shots, Rodan + Fields pictures, things I want to remember, to tons of photos for this here blog.
My phone is also full of apps.
I’ve got apps for everything. Shopping, directions, websites, photo editing, entertainment, weather, and more.
I love that I no longer need to worry about carrying an address book with me when I go to the post office because I keep addresses in my contacts.
Do you use personalized ring tones? I have one for Benny, Katie and Kent. That way when my phone rings, if it happens to be one of them I know.

I loved your original 10 apps list- I keep meaning to install that stalker one I mean tracking one! Have I told you about when I had the custom ringtone? Back when we were getting married, we met with the preacher and my phone rang, playing "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC! Robert and I just about died! I need to customize my ringtones again for sure!
Bwah-ha-ha!!!! That's HILARIOUS!!! Katie's ringtone is the ducks quacking. Have you seen the bumper sticker "having kids is like being pecked to death by a duck"? Yeah, that was her when she was younger. LOL
I love having a camera on me at all times and I am constantly snapping pics of things to remember. I also use the notes app a lot. Ibotta and Shopkick are among my faves too. Most of the time I feel like I've just barely scratched the surface of what all this phone could do for me. I'm gonna check out some of your other apps, bet you have some I'd like since I like you! Me too Kellyann. Katie just got a new phone over the weekend (an iphone 7) and the camera is so good on it. I'm waiting til' the next one comes out and going to upgrade this fall. We are two peas in a pod. XOXO
The first page of our phone is pretty similar. My favorite apps are Instagram and MyFitnessPal. Maybe, Cartwheel or Starbucks, if I'm being honest ;) I had to remove FB and Pinterest because they were distracting me too much.
I check FB a lot, but I've really cut down on Pinterest. That's what I do at night when I get in bed on the ipad. Happy Tuesday!
I need to check out your ten favorite apps! And I should totally get on the ringtone band wagon. But honestly, my phone never rings. It is always on vibrate. Interesting. I wonder why... I'll have to study that one. And I'm the same way about my phone. There was a couple of hours over the weekend that I strayed from it and I missed an important message! We ended up being late for dinner! Ha.
The three of them also have distinct text sounds so I know when they text me?
Pinterest is a MUST on my phone! I love the photo and it gives me inspiration throughout my day whenever I hit a snag!
It really is great. You can always find what your looking for. I love being able to access recipes when I'm at the store. Happy Friday!!!
