Flirty Floral Dress

I’ve told y’all before that it’s really windy where we live and that makes getting decent pictures a real challenge. Kent is going to have to take over the photographer role now that Katie is gone and I’m just not sure how that will go. She’s goofy with me and makes me laugh and will also suggest “poses”.

This is a great fall transition dress. The colors and floral print are fun and the ruffled bottom is sweet.

It’s currently the front runner for the wedding we’ll be attending in October, but I’m not “married” to it yet. HAHAHA!

These sandals are truly my favorite dressy sandals along with the hot pink ones just like them. They are amazingly comfortable and I’m all about a comfortable shoe, especially in a heel. The dark turquoise suede adds a fun pop of color.

I added one of my favorite Kendra Scott pendants. I love this necklace because of the mixed metal. I can wear both silver and gold with it making it super versatile. This day I was wearing the gold earrings that match.

Okay friends. What do we think of this one? It’s cute and really comfortable and I’ll be able to eat lots of yummy party food when wearing it. That’s what counts, right?

Happy Wednesday!!

Lisa

  • Oh you hot mama!!! Flirty Floral Fun Fabulousness!! Those shoes!!!! Oh those shoes! Love this fresh look from head to toe!

    • You need these shoes pretty lady. They're awesome! Thanks for the sweet compliments. Hope your week is going great and your getting use to your once again almost empty nest.❤️

  • I really like the color those shoes add to this dress! I also love the floral print and fit on you, it would definitely work for a wedding. I always struggle with what to wear for a wedding, too! I am sorry you are back to having the hubby take photos again! I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to take my outfit photos- my husband never suggests poses and I think he hates his job as 'blog photographer', but there is no way I'm using a tripod! lol!

    • I wish I had a good buddy that could fill the "photographer shoes". Oh well, we do what we gotta do. Thanks Carrie! Hope you are having a great week.

  • I love that Kent is so obliging to step in for Katie! Love the shoes and floral is so popular right now and it makes me happy, happy, happy!

    • It was so easy to pop outside during the day with her...I might have to invest in a remote to go with my camera and tripod. Happy Wednesday!!!

  • Bwahahahahahahahaha - not married to it!!!! Love that! Great dress on you and I love the colorful shoe. Heck yes to a dress that allows you to eat and enjoy without sucking it in, lol! I wish I had a Katie to take my pictures. My photo sessions are more like photo seconds - my husband takes about 5 photos and I always stand the same way!
    Hope you're enjoying your trip!!

    • Thanks Kellyann!! Hope the second week is going well and you're feeling in the groove. Well, we'll see how the new photographer goes...I'll likely end up getting a remote to go with my camera (I've already got a tripod) XOXO

  • I love those shoes! I actually purchased the pink ones after seeing them on your site - they are a favorite, so thanks for the recommendation! I like this dress and shoe combo...the shoes are unexpected, but look great with the print.

    • Oh that's great Denise!!! I'm so happy you like them. For heels, they are really comfortable. I actually ended up with this pair on a fluke. My friend and I ordered them (I got pink she got these) and she didn't like them. She's not a fan of heels so, ding, ding, ding...guess who got them. YAY ME!

  • Cute, comfy and room for cake...I say it's a win, win! Good luck transitioning to pictures with Ken! :)

    • It's safe to say I'm running behind on comments and trying to catch up. Thanks Shelly. I have a feeling I'm going to need to invest in a remote?
