By the time you are reading this there’s a good chance we’ll be in either at the airport or in the air heading to Oklahoma for our quick visit with Kent’s parents. Our flight was/is at 7:25. So needless to say we had to get up at the butt crack of dawn (that’s early if you don’t know what that is…LOL). I used to work with this girl who dressed her little boy the night before and he slept in his clothes for daycare the next day. Seriously. I was always kind of half amazed, half in disbelief, but I swear getting up and out of the house by 5:15 made me reconsider how I felt about that.?

With all the Nordstrom anniversary sale posts and pictures floating around I thought this was a fitting meme for the week. I’ve still got boxes rolling in, but I’ve also already made several trips to the mall to return things.
Y’all know having my workout buddy this summer has been a total FAVORITE. I’m going to be sooooo bored and lonely working out in a couple of weeks when she’s back at school.? BTW…We are both loving our new Zella leggings!
Happy Accidents….
I decided it was time to change the color of my “chalkboard” (which is actually made out of an extra cabinet door from our last house).
So what do I mean by a happy accident? Well I taped off the interior edge to repaint it.
When I pulled off the tape it also pulled off the chalkboard paint…
At first I thought I was going to repaint the black, but then I decided I really liked how it looked especially with the distressing.
It’s currently being used to hold Katie’s work schedule (since I can’t remember squat). I love it! Too bad it took me this long to think to do that. And this kid has worked a ton this summer.
Check out my new tank courtesy of the FASTer Way To Fat Loss. Y’all know I’ve been on this program this summer and I’m continuing with the workouts and eating reasonably clean. That will be a bit more of a challenge with all the travel I’ve got coming up in the next few week. If you are interested in getting healthy as school is about to start up there is another round starting August 14th. I really recommend it to give you a jump start and become aware of what your putting in your body with the support of others. I’m thinking I might do the round that starts in September to get ready for our trip to Hawaii. I do have an affiliate link for this program if you click HERE.
Having the opportunity to do something nice for a friend is always a favorite. One of the sweetest ladies I know was having some surgery and I took her and her husband dinner including this pie. I stopped by Trader Joe’s and picked up this sunny little arrangement to add with the food. Little touches mean the most.
It’s no secret I’m a huge fan girl bordering on obsession of Halo Top ice cream. Well imagine how excited I was when Allie sent me this picture on Insta yesterday. I was 7 shades of excited and immediately sent it to my ice cream loving partner in crime, Katie. We are officially on the hunt and will be happy to report back to you with our thoughts on each and every flavor. It’s a hard job, but somebody’s got to do it.

I want that tank!!! Too cute. And I love your chalkboard happy accident, looks terrific! I have heard of people dressing their kids the night before and even though I can't imagine doing that myself I can see the convenience. Actually I wear my exercise bra to bed with my pjs since I get up at the crack butt of dawn to head to the gym. Because you know, at 4:15 in the morning who has the 2 minutes it takes to put on a bra?! I'm crazy.

What a weekend! Yes, that's my handwriting. I love the look of all the beautiful chalkboard drawings and such, but I'm not always successful. I got lucky with this and it turned our pretty well. Happy Tuesday Tanya!!!
