Happy, happy Friday friends. What a week it’s been! I can barely wrap my brain around it being the first day of September, which also happens to ramp up the “birthday season” as we like to call it in our house. Kent, Katie and I all have birthdays within the next six weeks. We are now getting rain here in Nashville, but nothing like what the state of Texas has gotten. There are so many ways to help the people down there. I hope you’ll consider doing even something small. If everyone gives a little, it will make a huge difference.
Just like every Friday it’s time for Friday Favorites. I’m joining a bunch of blogger friends so make sure you check the link ups and see what’s going on with everyone.
A friend of mine on Facebook had this posted that Magnolia Market is donating ALL proceeds from their “Texas Forever” t-shirt to the rescue and rebuild efforts as a result of Hurricane Harvey.
I’ve seen several of you talking about these little yummies and when Elizabeth and I were in Target the other day we grabbed a pack to share. Let me just say I should have never tried them. They are delicious and go perfectly with a good cup of coffee in the afternoon as a little pick me up.
On Tuesday I shared my some of my favorite accessories from Accessory Concierge. Use the code ABC123 for 25% off your entire order during their Back to School Sale.
Catching up with old friends.
I got to have dinner with my friend Lauren. We lived next door to each other in the the dorm my freshman year.
We also got to introduce our daughters to each other who are both now attending the same school.
And grabbing a late night dinner with my girls is always a favorite.
Cousin love is so sweet and seeing my brother and his boys last weekend along with my mom and dad was one of the highlights of my trip.
I’m so happy they were able to make the trip and come see me and the kids. We hadn’t seen them since Christmas and that’s the longest we’ve ever had to go. Thankfully now we will only have to wait until Christmas to see them again.
A rainy evening of pizza, brownies and watching Friends with these 3 was a great way to spend last night.
And this little girl may be in college, but thankfully she will still curl up with me and fall asleep. These are the little moments I miss when I go back home.
Kent is coming in this afternoon for the weekend and we are going to get to meet Erin’s mom for the first time since she is also coming in for the weekend.

Oh, that picture is of Katie snuggled up with you made me cry because I'm missing my boys so much. One of them is coming home this weekend but we will only see him for a short time and the other one decided to stay at school darn it. I'm so happy your Mr. is coming into town to join you this weekend and you guys are going to have the best time! So wonderful catching up with old friends. And yes, didn't I tell you? Those caramel M&Ms are addicting! xoxo
Thank you Andrea! I'm happy you'll get to see at least on of your precious boys. I'm already dreading leaving here Monday, but I'll be back in a month...LOL. I'm trying to figure out how to convince Kent we need to buy a condo or something here. HA! YES...you did warn me and I should have never tried them. Darn that caramel and chocolate yumminess. I found them at Dollar Tree and bought more. What was I thinking? Have a great Labor Day weekend sweet friend. XO
I haven't seen those caramel m&m's but I'm going on the hunt for them today :) YUM ! I love love the photo of you curled up with your college girl ! Those days are the BEST !!! Happy Friday Lisa :)
Thanks Tammy! Yep, sweet moments? We got the first pack at Target, but I found them in Dollar Tree the other day and grabbed a several. Have a wonderful weekend!
Yes! Those caramel M&Ms are so dang good! How fun that your friend's daughter will be in college with Katy! Hope you guys have a great weekend and good luck with the potential future in law!
Erin's mom was super sweet and we loved meeting her. You'd better go find you some M&M's. You may need them to get through the week? XOXO
Have a great weekend.
Hi Regine! Hope you have a wonderful week. XO
I love those caramel M&M's! I'm surprised it took them this long to launch a caramel variety!
For real! They are like a rolo with a crunchy shell. Have a great week, Laura! XO
I am so going to have to try those caramel M&Ms. A co worker introduced me to caramel tootsie pops and wow!! Sounds like your week has been wonderful. Hope you have a good weekend too!
Someone needs to bring you those for a treat when you are in the hospital having that sweet baby!!! Hope you're hanging in there okay. I wish I could come visit and bring you a treat and steal a snuggle or two (or ten). Happy Tuesday Trista!!! XO
Meeting Erin's mom, huh? This is sounding SERIOUS! How exciting!
I refuse to try those M&M's (at least for this weekend, lol). I really don't need another thing to crave do I? BTW, did you see that Breyers now has an ice cream high in protein like our beloved Halo Top? We MUST try it and report back, I'm not sure if you'll find it first or I will but alert Katie. This is an emergency!
Speaking of Katie, she is even beautiful while she sleeps! What a gorgeous girl you have there, just like her momma!
I love that you and your roommate both have daughters at the same school! Dinner with your girlfriends sounds like so much fun, I am so glad you get to do that and see your family too. So good for your soul. I bet you'll be happy to see Kent,I'm sure he's been missing you all.
Enjoy your weekend sweet friend!
xo,
Kellyann
We loved her mom!!! She's super sweet just like Erin❤️. I told Katie about the Breyers and you'd better believe I'm going to be on the HUNT for it ASAP!!! I think spending that two+ weeks in Nashville helped to "wean" me off Katie and make it much easier to come home without her. I do so love that she snuggles with me though. Thanks for the sweet words. We think she's a beauty, but we are probably prejudiced. Back to reality...I've got so much to get done! Hugs to you friend!
I'm going to have to keep my eyes out for those m&m's! Those sound delicious! At Valentines Day they have cherry flavor m&m's and those are my absolute favorite but they are so hard to find!
Oh my goodness...How have I missed the cherry flavor? I love chocolate and cherry together. I'll be watching out for those. Have a great week, Kasey!! XO
