The Best Weekend And Green Monday

Happy Monday friends. I don’t know how your weekend was, but I’m here to tell you our was one to remember. Saturday Kent and I went to his departmental Christmas party which was a lunch. It’s been that way for the last couple years and is really nice.

I’ve ordered all these things to try for Christmas and haven’t found anything that really tickles my fancy so I wore this new top. It’s the second time I’ve worn it and so far I’ve had people stop me and tell me how cute it is both times. #winner

While we were at the luncheon I got a FaceTime call from Benny. We knew this was coming and so I knew I’d better answer it. Kent and I excused ourselves and answered it to find out…

He’d asked Erin to marry him!!!!

We are over the moon excited to have her join our family. They are so precious and so happy, and it just thrills our hearts. (I wish I’d taken a screenshot of the call, but I guess living in the moment is really more important)

So it’s looking like Memorial Day weekend we will add another Richardson to our little clan.

Y’all know what this means, right? Time to start shopping for a Mother of the Groom dress. Fasten your seat belts friends because we’ve got some serious shopping to do and y’all are going to need to help me decide on the perfect dress.

Now for Green Monday. Do you know what that is? Well apparently it’s a thing. I’m only slightly familiar with this one, but it sounds like it’s picking up speed. Here’s what I found:

Green Monday, which falls on December 11 this year, is the online version of Super Saturday. It’s the day when everyone panics about getting their online purchases in time for Christmas.

I’m going to place an order tomorrow to allow plenty of time for Christmas orders.

This is by far one of my favorite products. It’s worked wonders for my lashes and so many other lash-poor people. I even had a couple of bald spots from chicken pox when I was in kindergarten that have filled back in. I have a friend who’s eyelashes were really sparse and thin due to an extended illness and they’ve thickened up and filled in beautifully. This stuff is legit!
