Perfect Pink Tunic

Hi friends! Can you believe it’s already Wednesday? I’m sure many of you are just like me and after an extended period of time off you lose track of what day it is. I’ve been off a solid day every day this week projecting myself into the next day. I sure don’t need to do that because with every day that passes, we are one day closer to sending Katie back to school. Maybe she’ll at least miss the warmth out here when she gets back to Nashville and the frigid temps they’ve been having. HA!

I’ve got a beautiful pale pink tunic to share with you today from where else? Loft. Even better yet, it’s on sale for 60% off. Loft is actually offering 60% off all sale merchandise.

If I said it once, I’ve said 100 times. I.love.cozy. If you live where it’s super cold right now don’t shoot daggers at me when I say this. I actually miss the cold a little bit. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to be freezing all the time, but a day here and there of chilly weather when I feel like I can snuggle up in all the cozy things is kind of fun.

When I saw this sweater online I just thought it looked like a sweet little lamb and would be so comfortable. I have to admit, I wasn’t wrong. I paired it with my favorite gray leggings. These are from Soma and I have them in black and gray and a black cropped pair as well. They are buttery soft and have a nice wide waistband to keep everything tucked in right where you want it. They aren’t linkable in the “shop the post” widgets so I’ve linked some good alternatives too.

You aren’t bound to just leggings with this sweater. It would be super cute with distressed denim or if holes in your jeans aren’t your thing, regular jeans would be great. I think if you wanted you could actually pull this down a bit for an off the shoulder look or wear it off just one shoulder if that’s your jam.

Katie and I are starting a cleans/detox today. What does this mean? Well we are eating soups, smoothies, and shakes to give our “guts” and bodies a chance to recover from all the delicious junk we ate over the holiday and do a little “reset”. Right now I’m drinking a concoction of warm water, a fresh squeezed lemon, 1 T of unfiltered apple cider vinegar and a little Stevia just to keep my mouth from turning inside out. It’s pretty tart, but tolerable and I currently have 2 Crock-pots going with bone broth being made in them. This is new to me.  I’ll let you know next week how we felt after we finished.

Have a blessed day friends!

Lisa
