Happy hump day friends! Whoa, it feels like I haven’t done a fashion post in quite some time. Well that’s about to change. I ordered several things from LOFT and they finally started arriving. I love, love, love LOFT, but it seems their shipping is a bit sloooow. Good news though, today everything at LOFT is 50% off if you have their credit card and 40% off if not.
This gingham blouse that is over the moon cute came and I am in love. (How many times can I use the word love in this post?) It took me a little while to jump on the gingham trend, but once I did there was no looking back, in fact quite the opposite. My biggest problem is having some self control and not buying all the gingham. Literally. I feel like my closet is starting to look like a 70’s fabric store. HA!
I keep talking about how much I love the halter cut of tops and dresses. I find it to be so flattering, at least for my body type. If you have rounded shoulders it may not be the cut for you. Katie (my daughter) has swimmer shoulders and she doesn’t like this cut on herself. This same blouse comes in this print too and it’s on its way to my house. Now the big decision will be keep both, or try to pick.?
I also got this dress which is the same cut and just darling and apparently I wasn’t the only one who felt that way because it’s sold out, but this one tis the same cut, new, on sale and fully stocked in all sizes.
I also have to tell y’all that if you like to wear a little jewelry everyday, this necklace is perfect. I have two of them and I’m not exaggerating when I say I wear one almost every single day. They go with everything.
On a side note, check out our Stargazer lillies. They are mine and Kent’s favorites. He might actually love them even more than me, if that’s possible. They were one of the main flowers in our wedding and they smell divine, so I think the memories coupled with the sweet scent are a major factor. Whenever there is an occasion for him to bring me flowers, Stargazers are what he brings.?
Okay, back to my outfit. I naturally grabbed my white jeans for this because the gingham and white make for such a crisp, summery outfit and go perfectly together. I have so enjoyed these double frayed hem jeans (also from Loft) this spring and summer. I buy the curvy fit #bootylicious and they fit me really well.
I scored these block heel mules from you guessed it, the Nordstrom sale. They are comfortable and cute as all get out. I think they’ll be a perfect transition shoe and can be dressed up or worn a little more casual like here.

I missed this yesterday because I must have been too busy talking to you, ha! I love all the gingham too and that top is precious on you! Yes, girlfriend, you wear that halter style so well. Can't wait to see the dress! Those stargazer lilies are just so pretty. I am not really familiar with them but I'll have to take note and make sure next time I see them I take a whiff! How sweet that y'all love them so much and they have such sweet meaning from your wedding! I think now you're gonna have to share a photo of the wedding!!!

This outfit is sooo cute! Love the gingham top with white jeans. And I agree with you on LOFT shipping! I love a lot of their stuff but end up *not* going through with a lot of purchases because the shipping is expensive and slow. When there's free shipping though...I'm there!

Lilies are my favorite flower! My stargazer lilies are a couple weeks away from blooming so I hope I get to enjoy them before we move! I might have to dig a few up. We had lilies as our wedding centerpieces and in my bouquet!
Awwww, yes, you should take them with you. If you don’t, we’ve bought these at Costco the last couple of years. I think ours will peak while where on vacation. Bummer, but I’ll take the beach? XO
