Good morning! Okay, here we go. The Nordstrom sale is now open to card holders. I went through the catalog and marked the things that caught my eye. Funny thing, it’s mostly shoes. I’m not sure why that it is. Maybe it’s because there will be sooooo many more things online and in store than the catalog showed. Maybe it’s because for my personal taste a lot of the items in the catalog were too far out there. Maybe it’s because I’m looking for a lower price point than the things in the catalog or maybe it’s because shoes never make you feel fat. HA!

I love the camo leggings, but I’m even more excited that the faux leather are being offered again. I ordered them last year and then returned them after the peanut gallery (aka Katie and Kent) gave me the thumbs down. Again, I regretted returning them and will be ordering them today.
Zella – High Waist Leggings $38.90 (after sale $59)
Katie and I both got our first pair of these last year and have worn them to death. We will be adding new pairs to our closets this year.
Alo – High Waist Leggings $72.90 (after sale $110)
I add one of these every year in a slightly different style and color. They are just the softest sweaters ever and I typically wear one every day as a robe. They are perfect for a special mom, sister, girlfriend gift.
Hanky Panky – Low Rise Thong $16.90 or 4/$59 (after sale $22 each)
I’m not a thong girl myself, but Katie does have a couple pairs of Hanky Panky thongs and loves them.

I know it’s hard for me to think ahead to fall and the next season when we are in the throws of summer, but I do find that some of the things I buy at this sale are also some of my most worn pieces in the fall and winter.
One last tip: If you have a triple points day you can use, do it on the day you are planning to make the bulk of your sale purchases to get the most bang for your buck in more ways than one.

Shoes are the one thing I didn't even consider since I have so many issues. Saved me a bundle of money - ha! I don't have the credit card so I'll be patiently waiting to see if anything I like is still there on the 20th. It seems like the sale is really for the credit card holders.
