Happy Friday my friends! I am ready for this weekend. Some of my weeks are filled with not much going on and others seem to have all the things happening. This week was the latter, and to top it off I seem to have caught some kind of creeping crud and have a nasty cough. Hopefully it will be on its way out by Wednesday when I leave for yet another trip. This has been the year of travel for me. Mama’s, this is what happens when all the birdies leave the nest, it’s a blessing and a curse.

I love all things fleece by Gibson at Nordstrom. Weird, weird, weird that this girl is such a huge Nordy fan, because for most of my life I only walked through that store to get into the mall. I thought they never had sales, and it turns out that things are always on sale. Just hit that SALE tab at the top of the homepage and shop away. P.S. Right now it’s triple points through the 23rd when you use your Nordstrom card. Okay, back to the fleece. I’m amassing quite the collection of these fleecy tops by Gibson. They are just the softest and I adore them. I can’t wait for a cooler day (which just might be around the corner) to put this v-neck style “sweatshirt” on. (just under $33) It’s comfortable like a sweatshirt with a little more oomph! Getcha’ one!

Yep, this is another outfit that hit Instagram this week. This top is the same as the blush version I shared here. I also found it in this gorgeous wine color and I’m really tempted to get it too. Katie gets on to me for buying multiples of the same item in different colors, but I can’t help myself. I like what I like. This floral one really doesn’t even look the same because the material is so different, but it’s cute as all get out. Fit tip: I sized up to a medium in this one. I ordered 2 smalls and they both ran, well, small. LOL
The birthday boy!!! He heard from all the people he loves yesterday, had a yummy dinner and dessert and all in all it was a good day! Here’s to another great year! XO
I am a total fan girl of Bath and Body Works foaming soaps and keep a stash of them in the linen closet. However, I’m currently out and haven’t been to the mall (say what?) lately so I grabbed this in line at TJMaxx yesterday. I was a little apprehensive because I so love the BBW Pumpkin Spice soap for fall, but Y’ALL, this stuff is good! You get twice as much for about the same price and a cute container with a bow. Who doesn’t love a bow? (Yes, I know I should take it off, but it’s my house and I can leave it on if I want. HA!)
How could I forget? Ulta is having their Daily beauty Steals and tomorrow my favorite setting spray, Urban Decay All Nighter will be HALF PRICE! Perfect time to stock up or if you’ve never tried, give it a go. I love how it helps keep my makeup set.

Oh girl you know I am ordering that UD Setting Spray - as many as they'll allow online and then I may just go in store too! I LOVE that stuff. I'm not sure if I want to thank you or not for sharing the cute Target top in additional colors. I really like the print one and the wine one would go with a few things I own. Darn it all!!!! The cake you made for Kent is perfect - you are very talented looks like you bought it from a bakery.
Okay, get rid of that cough asap - we have a fun trip planned!!!

Happy Friday! I ordered the Gibson fleece in that same color! I returned the grey stripe one I got at the NSale and I believe this price is actually lower. What the what?? Went to BBW over the weekend and stocked back up! We must be super dirty or clean freaks because we sure seem to go through it fast for just the 2 of us. LOL

I just ordered myself some BBW 3 wick fall candles. They have the best fragrances in all their products. Love that fleece top but I'm on a shopping freeze indefinitely. I do not need one thing and have way to many clothes so I decided it was time to do something about it. I've made it a month so far. :o)) Happy weekend!

Don't take that bow off! I wouldn't either! I love it! Both of those tops are so cute! I don't really shop at Nordstroms. It just overwhelms me with all the things. I think if I had more time to narrow down what I want I would love it though. There are lots of great clothes to be had!
Thanks for the bowformation (confirmation of the bow?) I used to be the exact same way. I find it much easier to shop online and mostly only do the SALE tab. XO

I used to feel the very same way about nordstrom! I literally would only buy the shoes there, and they always seemed expensive to me, so I just assumed everything else was expensive. I've learned! I love those leopard earrings too, I feel like they're perfect for fall! I'm a BBW fan girl, too, lol! But yay for a great find at TJMaxx
