Gift Guide for Her

Happy Black Friday!! Are you already back from scoring all your bargains and mixing it up with the crowds? Hopefully you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did. I ate way too much, but next week I’ll get back on the bandwagon and reign it back it in. I kept seeing funny memes yesterday on Instagram and Facebook that made me LOL. My method of knowing when to stop eating is wearing my jeans, and letting them tell me when enough is enough. HA!

Wednesday I shared the Gift Guide for him and so today it’s all about her. Some of these you can pick up this weekend for a song. Have you heard that saying before? My mom has always used it and so I’ve picked it up.

These are some of my own personal favs and things on my list, and then some that I just thought would make great gifts.

1 – Barefoot Dreams Robe – I’m a huge fan of Barefoot Dreams and if you’ve ever touched any, I’d bet you are too. Getting out of the shower or bed and wrapping up in one of these robes would be so heavenly. Definitely something that would not be returned and even that hard to shop for lady in your life will love it.

2 – PJ Salvage Pajamas – New PJ’s are such a fun gift to give and receive and if they are soft, well then all the better. I love giving new PJ’s to my daughter every Christmas Eve and now with a DIL, I can do matching jammies for the 3 of us. Start your own tradition of new PJ’s if you don’t already.

3 -Jo Malone Fragrance Sampler – I love trying new fragrances and a sampler set by Jo Malone is the perfect way to do that. Gift them all to the same person or break them up for stocking stuffers.

4 – iPhone cases – 4/5/6 Sometimes it’s fun just to replace that tired ol’ phone case and any of these would do just that. I see a lot of women carrying the kind that has a card holder on the back so they can just carry their phone in when shopping. Pretty genius.

7 – UGG slippers – I’m actually on the hunt for a pair of these for myself. No one wants cold feet and UGG footwear is some of the warmest out there. What a fun gift to open.

8 – Yeti Coffee Mug – These coffee mugs are perfect for the hard to buy for person or when you need a gift for someone you don’t know that well. They are the perfect price point for a reasonably priced gift too. I’ve been purchasing them lately for birthdays and Christmas gifts.

9 -Madewell Tote – A nice leather tote is perfect for schlepping all those things around and especially for travel. It’s also a gift that will stand the test of time and the classic style never goes out of style.

10 – Nickel & Suede Earrings – If you’ve been around here longer than the last 30 seconds, you won’t be surprised these are on my gift list. I’d say 5 out of 7 days a week I wear a pair of these. Super light weight, and all around great for amping up even the most casual outfit.

11 – Pom Pom Beanie – These little beanies are so adorable and will keep your head warm too. They are what I’d call a functional accessory. So cute on and really a great gift for the teen or college girl in your life.

12 – Wubby Fleece Pullover – Seriously, just buy one. So stinkin’ soft, warm and cute as a button. Oh and did I mention pockets? Yes!

13 – Barefoot Dreams Hooded Cardigan – This is one of several Barefoot Dreams pieces I have in my closet. I wear this one for everything from running around town over my PJ’s. The only thing I’m going to warn you is once you get one, you’re going to want more. These are the best gifts too. Everyone loves them and will think of you every time they put it on.

14- Zella Live In Leggings – The holy grail of leggings. Well make that one of the holy grails (you’ll see why in a second). Another great gift option, especially for those college girls. The high waistband on these keeps them from sliding down when working out and keeps everything tucked in where it’s supposed be. Perfect for everyday wear.

15 – Leopard Booties – Pretty much enough said. These will add the perfect amount of sass to your closet and when is anything leopard ever the wrong answer?

16 – Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – So it’s probably safe to say it’s a draw between these and the Zella as to which are really the holy grail, but both are straight up ? You might be thinking these are too young, too edgy, too dressy, etc…but trust me when I tell you they are suitable for everything from a night out, to a sweatshirt and running shoes. Just like the Zellas they have a nice hight waist band that doesn’t roll down and they tuck everything into a nice neat package.

17 -Hunter Rain Boots – I got these last year and the 4 days it rained (just kidding but not really) I wore them and loved keeping my feet all nice and dry. You can make them more for winter wear by adding a Hunter boot liner which come in lots of fun options so you can play with different looks.

Happy shopping friends!!!

  • Oooh I knew this would be a goodie. I am totally getting my niece that wubby and I think you pretty much covered my favorite things but of course I know you would seeing as we both have the best taste and all, lol. Hope your having fun with your loves!

  • Bwahahahahaha maturkey pants!!!! I am so easily amused! I am still toying with the idea of what I want for Christmas, contemplating the Barrington tote but I'm not sure. One of my best friends is headed out to pick up her LV Neverfull bag today! Eeek!!! Something I'll never own but at least I'll get to touch it!
Hope you are having a great day!

    • Tell me all about the Neverfull when you get to see it. I still want one, but can’t justify it. Hope you’ve had a great weekend! XO

  • Oh yes, going for a song is something we say over here too. Some lovely ideas here, and those spanx really are the cat's pyjamas, everyone looks amazing in them and as you say, they're perfect as a dress up/dress down. What a brilliant gift idea. And thanks for the little holiday game with the numbers BTW - I had fun!
Hugs, enjoy your holiday weekend, x.

  • I love all these ideas, Lisa! I bought a pair of Zella leggings riiiight before I found out I was pregnant, so I'm loving my Blanqi leggings right now, but I can't wait to see what all the fuss is about! Also, Hunter boots. #classic ;) hope you had the absolute best Thanksgiving!

  • I just got some Ugg slippers in a light grey and I LOOOOOVE them! Seriously love them and mine have a hard sole, so I can run out and get the mail, etc. in them. I just looked at those Zella leggings and I love that they have a high waist! I may need to get those... I need some new leggings BAD.

    • I had a hard time choosing the color but stuck with chestnut. I love the hight waist on the leggings. Nordstrom runs them on sale a lot…keep an eye out.

  • I love all of your gifting suggestions, but I especially love the pom-pom beanies! So cute! I'm all about them this year! Hope you're having a great weekend, Lisa! :)

    • That’s because you look so cute in them. BTW…loved Bohemian Rhapsody. So good. Happy week cutie! XO

  • Great gift ideas! We don't have thanskgiving here in Australia, but we do have a massive feast for Christmas and comfortable clothes for the food belly are a must, haha!

Hope that you have had a wonderful weekend! We went on our annual girls pre-Christmas shopping trip yesterday, finished buying all our Christmas gifts and had some fun together :)
