We’re almost one week into December. Can you even? There will be lots of holiday parties for lots of people. In case you’re wondering, I’m not one of them. LOL. We do have Kent’s office party this Saturday, but it’s not a real dressy occasion, it’s actually during the day at a nice restaurant. Do you dread going to things like that or look forward to it? Honestly, we usually kinda dread it, but always end up enjoying ourselves. I know, we’re weird. HA!
Would you believe this dress is from…Target? Yep! I know, right?! Seriously y’all, you’ve got to spend some time periodically on their website. There is so much good stuff on there that’s not in the stores. I ordered this one over 6 weeks ago, photographed it and then pushed it to the back of my mind. What the what? Of course that means that now sizes are limited, but it is still in stock. #imsorry
When I saw it, I thought it would be great for the holidays. It’s not a bright red, so I don’t think it would be as limiting. and the style could be worn year round. Perfect for weddings and parties.
I chose these sandals, but they could just as easily be replaced with a nude pump for winter wear. While we’re talking about these sandals, can I just tell you that they are very comfortable. I have them in 3 colors and don’t hesitate to wear them. I bought this color for Benny’s wedding back in May, even though I already had another pair almost identical. They weren’t nearly as comfy, so I ordered these and they didn’t disappoint.
On a side note: If you are looking for a good self tanner, I highly recommend the Rodan + Fields Foaming Tanner. I’ve used lots of different brands and this is honestly my favorite. The color is very subtle, buildable and doesn’t streak. That’s right, no streaks. One bottle lasts a long time too.

We usually love Christmas parties and I love hosting them, too! This year, our social calendar filled up pretty fast and so we've had to decline a few, but never fear! This is THE prettiest dress from Target I've ever seen and it looks perfect on you! What a perfect dress, it is classy and tasteful yet form fitting and the lace adds a feminine touch. I always sort of dread social occasions for the holidays (for work type stuff), but then like you I always enjoy them!
