Do you feel like you are soooo ready for spring? I think about all y’all in colder places and living in California, I can’t even wrap my brain around it….even though I lived in the tundra…aka Minneapolis for 3 winters. HA! Stay warm my friends and stay safe!
I was out running errands the other day and popped into Old Navy. Well when in Old Navy what do you do? A quick try on, and then share them with you. So let’s just get right to it.
I didn’t really know I was going to end up going into Old Navy when I left my house and so I thought it was kind of funny I ended up wearing one of my current absolute favorite ON items…this hoodie. I’ve never been a hoodie kinda girl until this one. This one, won my whole heart. The cut is perfection and I think it’s because of the slits on the sides. It makes it hang so well and is very flattering for a sweatshirt. I actually wanted to order another one and odds are pretty good I’ll do just that. Sweatshirts never go out of style, so why not?
Speaking of sweatshirts, I tried this striped one on and the yellow one below. They are both super soft and look cute out or with a front tuck. I like the nautical feel of the stripes and the message and color of the yellow.
Cute blouses around every corner in the store. Can I get an “oh yeah”?! Old Navy has a good selection of lightweight blouses and tunics right now. Stripes and dots galore, but then when are they ever not a trend? Look closely and you’ll see the cutest little tie at the wrist. Little details like this have me all ?
If you’re not having all the spring feels from looking at these, then I’m not sure how to help you. This top is just like the striped one but with the sweetest purple polka dots. I love this color combo.
As I’m sitting here writing this, I’m asking myself why didn’t this pink and white striped tunic come home with me? WHY I ask you? I never wear light pink, but with my new found love affair I’m having with deep lavender, I’m thinking pink just might want to join the party.
Holy softness, Batman! This one is so stinkin’ soft and I love everything about it. The cut, the stripes, the fabric. Put this one right in the win column. Wear it now with jeans and then in the spring it will be adorable with white jeans or cut-off shorts. (for you younger girlies)
Attention!!! Have you heard the Pantone color of the year is CORAL? Well we’re all going to need to get us some pronto and this one will check that box, plus polka dots and bows. Need I say more? Three quarter sleeves are so perfect when the weather is changing and has a split personality during the day.
So this I’m throwing in for two reasons. One: How cute is Katie? Oh to go back to those days. Two: Check out my very coral living room. This was in 2005 and I guess I was way ahead of my time and the color of the year. Wink, wink.
I’ve been looking for a jumpsuit for what feels like an eternity. I’m not sure it’s supposed to happen for me. This blue and white striped version is so super cute. The phrase “it’s not you, it’s me” comes to mind. The jumpsuit is darling, my build just isn’t jumpsuit friendly. I have a pear shape and the seams seem (seams seem?) to sit right at the wrong place and make me look like well, a pear. You straight girls should go for it and send me a picture of your cute self wearing it. I’ll try not to be jealous.
So there you have it. Whew, just going through all those made me about as tired as trying them all on. It’s a labor of love I tell ya’.

Ooooh you tried on some super cute pieces! I love all the stripes, especially the striped sweatshirt, I totally thought it was a sweater btw. The jumpsuit is cute on you! Look at that flat stomach! But if you don't feel comfortable in it then it's a no go. Go back and get that pink and white striped tunic. Girl, you know I want it! Looking super cute my friend!

I was in our ON last week and apparently all the cute stuff hasn't arrived in Louisiana yet! However, I was in Tarjay last night and oh, my word! The 80's have definitley arrived at Target and this girl is wishing she could pull off a crop top and high waisted jeans again! Wow!
