Happy Friday!!! Are you all Amazon primed and ready for the Easter Bunny. HAHAHA! I crack myself up. But seriously, did you get any goodies from Amazon to fill those baskets? I am turning into a daily shopper on there. I remember about 18 months ago, I wasn’t familiar with it at.all. What??? Anyway (if you watch my insta-stories then you know I over use that word), this is not an Amazon post it’s just a good old Friday Favorites post. I do however have plans for an Amazon post soon.
But first, a little Easter humor.
I just love it when I stumble upon a good deal and this week I decided to take a stroll through Target and see what I could find that I didn’t need. I was so excited to see the BOGO signs in the shoe department. Target has some of the cutest sandals out for us girls. I loved getting Katie’s shoes there when she was a tot and now they’ve got so many great styles for us. YES! These are some of my picks and I also spotted this adorable rainbow woven bag. Perfect for spring and summer.
Did you catch my Insta-story yesterday? Are you an Insta-story watcher? Good grief, I am. I love hearing what people sound like. They just suck me right in and I feel like I know all these people personally. (Follow me here) Anyway (there’s that word again) I shared this outfit yesterday afternoon after I had spent a little time worshipping the sun. (no not literally…just catching some rays) The first leggings I purchased were these from Soma. They are so GOOD! I love my Zella leggings and my new Meadowlark leggings (see them here), but these leggings are like wearing your own skin. Does that sound weird? They have a nice high waist and they’re actually called “slimming leggings”. The material is not cottony so shirts don’t cling. I have 4 pairs if that tells you anything. And they’re currently on sale for 30% off. I just recently ordered this top from Soma too. It is perfect for those days when you’re just hanging out and I plan to wear it for travel. It’s super soft, think Gibson fleece soft. It’s also great when you have visitors or go somewhere that you don’t want to sit around in your pj’s. And my flip flops get an honorable mention. They are my all time favs. I’m on pair #2 and getting ready to order a replacement for them.
I’ve been trying to find this highlighter palette for a couple of weeks and finally found when I was in Target…after I finished looking at shoes.?It’s from the same line as my new eyebrow pencil from a previous Friday Favorites (that I’m also totally loving). Have you heard of Milani? I think it’s pretty new, but it seems to be pretty popular. I used it for the first time yesterday, mostly as eye shadow and let’s just say, I’m a total fan. I’ve used my highlighter as eye shadow forever and this one does beautifully! I even had a friend stop me yesterday and ask me what I had on. So there ya’ go. It’s good!
If you saw my Mother’s Day gift guide post on Monday, then you might remember I had a cell phone stand on it. Guess who couldn’t wait? You got it. ME! I ordered it and it was here the next day. It.is.awesome!!! Definitely worth the $10.99.
I just got this new black ruffle sleeve top from Amazon this week. Isn’t it just too cute? I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it, but I really like it. Ruffles are always iffy for me and since these are a little bigger, I was worried they’d overwhelm my frame. I originally ordered a medium and it was too big, so I reordered my usual small and it’s so much better. It’s made really well, a polyester type fabric and not see through. It also comes in a pretty burgundy.
And let’s just bookend this Friday Favorites with a little more Easter humor. These are too cute not to share.

I just added that stand to my cart. I have one for my mini ipad that I keep in my kitchen to quickly look up a recipe or play music while I'm cooking or meal prepping.
I can never resist the shoes from Target...just bought a pair of sandals in bright pink and can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear them!!!

Hey pretty lady ! No offense, I deleted my instagram ( feeling insecure and frustrated) I decided to delete it for a few weeks. Hoping to get out of my little rut that I'm in. I did buy some slime for my daughter on Amazon for some Easter basket fillers. I am going to pin that top and those leggings! I saw your IG story and I was like... that'd be the perfect outfit to wear for out loooong flight to Maui!!!! Gonna pin that highlighter palette, although... I'm not sure I'd know how to use it.
