Hey y’all! It’s that time again. Time to share the Simply Earth Essential Oils monthly subscription box, so instead of our regularly scheduled Friday Favorites, we’re going to talk oils. Did you know essential oils are not just for humans, but also for our furry friends? I honestly never really thought about it until this box showed up. This months box is all about making things that are better for your pups without all the chemicals.
Every month I get to offer you a $20 discount code, but this month it’s been doubled to $40. That means when you subscribe you’ll get a $40 gift card to use towards the next months box or a future purchase, maybe something fun like a diffuser. Subscriptions also come with a Bonus Box that has all kinds of great things in it for making the most of your monthly boxes. You’ll get a couple of different carrier oils, solid coconut oil, roller ball bottles and small bottles for mixing your own blends. Did you know essential oils need to be kept in dark glass bottles and stored out of light places to keep them in tip top form? Yes, they do and the bottles they send meet those criteria.
Included in this months box are four oils:
Ginger: treat nausea, upset stomach, inflammation and respiratory conditions.
Juniper Berry: calms nervous tension, purifies the air, relieves sore muscles and joints, increases focus, energizes, supports respiration
Citronella: calms, reduces negative emotions, controls mosquitos, ants and fleas.
Peace & Quiet Blend: Calms & relaxes
We are a pet free home. Womp-womp. We had a puppy once for about three weeks, but that’s a story for another day. #trustme I did have a great idea though, to make these oils and give to my friend in Nashville who does have a sweet little doggy. First recipe I tackled was Paw Balm. It’s like chapstick for their feet. How cute is that? It was super quick and easy to make. I just melted down the solid coconut oil and beeswax in a glass jar, in a water bath and then added the essential oils (Ginger & Juniper Berry) and within mere minutes, it was done. Easy-peasy!
I had grand plans to show y’all how to use these Paw Balms on my friends dog, Murphy. But he is currently off at college getting edjumacated. LOL Translation: he’s with one of their girls at her college.
Next up was a nice little bottle of fur and skin conditioner. Doggies skin can get dry and then itchy, so this little concoction is the perfect answer. It was so easy to mix up. All I had to do was put 4T almond oil, Juniper Berry EO, Citronella EO and Ginger EO and voila, Fur and Skin Conditioner.
You know what dogs are famous for? Being stinky. HA! I don’t think anyone enjoys being around a smelly puppy. Enter Pet Eliminator Spray. Spray it to refresh a room, pet bed or other surface naturally. Add Ginger EO with Peace & Quiet EO and distilled water to the included spray bottle and shake. #done
The last recipe I made was an Itchy Skin Roll-On. Another super easy one to whip up. You use one of the included roller bottles, 2 drops Ginger EO, 2 drops Juniper Berry EO and then fill the rest of the way with almond oil.
Simply Earth is not just an oil company, they are also a company with heart. They are fighting to help end human trafficking. A very real threat all around the globe. 13% off their profits are used to support this cause. So when you purchase from them you are not only getting something good for you and your family, but doing something to help others.
So what do you say? Think you’re ready to try taking care of your dog the natural way? Also included in the box is a cute little bandana and a recipe for flea & tick repellant to soak it in.
If you’re ready to make your home natural with Simply Earth essential oils and you want your own subscription then use my code COASTTOCOAST2FREE, and you will receive a $40 gift card with your initial subscription box and a bonus box. You can use the $40 gift card on a future purchase or your next box.
