Happy Friday friends! This is a great Friday for me. Want to know why? Tomorrow we leave for vacation!!!!! Hence the title of Pre-Vacation Friday Favorites. The whole gang is coming with us this time. We’ve had Benny, Erin & Katie before, and then we’ve had Katie and Luke, but we’ve never had all 4. It.is.going.to.be.FUN! Now, if we can just get the weather to cooperate. Everyone cross your fingers. Puh-leese! Oh and I may or may not post next week. We’ll just have to see what happens.
I seem to be rough on computer cases. The last one I had I continued to use even though it was cracked for some time. Well I finally broke down and bought a new one. I love it. It’s a soft touch, hard shell case and it’s only $11. What a deal. I can also use it as a backdrop for small scale photographs in a pinch. Winner-winner!
One of my favorite flowers is hydrangea. In the past I’ve cut them and they don’t last very long. I read on another bloggers blog, advice on how to cut them, and keep them longer. Man-o-man did it work. These lasted almost 2 weeks. Can you even?
Okay, this picture is serving as two favorites. First let’s talk about the Sylvia Joy box I’m holding. It came with some great, adhesive inserts for heels. If your feet are tired at the end of the day, or the beginning, then these might be the answer. Use code SJ_Coasttocoast2 for 40% off.
Now look at my eyes. There are two things I want you to notice. My “eyeshadow” and my lashes.
I ordered this blush a few months ago when I got this highlighter. I go through periods of time when I use eyeshadow, but a lot of the time I just use my blush. That’s what I’ve been doing here of late, using my blush as my eyeshadow. I was at the dentist yesterday and when she sat down she said, “I really like your eyeshadow”. I told her it was actually my blush and she loved the idea. Trust me, it works like a charm.
I try not to beat y’all over the head with Rodan + Fields, but from time to time I just have to share. Y’all, I never had any kind of lashes at all, but I always wanted them. I’d look at women who had beautiful lashes with such envy. Well no more. Since I started using Lash Boost 2 1/2 years ago, I am now in love with my own lashes. It’s mind boggling how awesome this stuff is. If you are lacking in the lash department like I was, let me know and I will happily set you up with your own Lash Boost. A tube lasts 4 months. You’ll notice a little difference at 4 weeks, more at 8 and a noticeable improvement by 12 weeks. Kent has been totally amazed by my lashes. Totally!

Wow, your hydrangeas are gorgeous! And how convenient that your computer case doubles as a photo backdrop! LOL! Hope you have the best time on your family vacation!
I am totally checking out that post on hydrangeas, I have a pot on my porch and I am PRAYING they live! You have the best eyes and I need to get my rear in gear and get myself on R&F bandwagon! I need lashes like that!
One more sleep till vacay - I know you are so excited!!!!

Kellyann
YES! I'm surprised you didn't already know about it since I know you read her blog. R&F...let's go?
XOXO
Well dang it all, I did see her post and realized that was for cut hydrangeas not the bush I have in a pot on my porch. That currently needs to be rescued!!
We have 11 hydrangea plants and four of them got damaged by the storm the other night. I love that color! I have never tried the Milani make up products but heard so many great things about them, I want too, I want too. Eek, I’m so excited for you girl! You deserve a fabulous vacation with your amazing family! XOXO
Oh no! Hopefully they'll come back even stronger. I'd love to have a yard with an entire back or side border of them. The Milani products are really good. Happy weekend.

Have a fabulous vacation! The hydrangeas look beautiful - I wish they'd grow here in TExas!
I do love them. So happy I got them to last so long. Have a great weekend!
XO
What a great idea to use your blush as eyeshadow, Lisa. I have used a lipstick/stain that didn't stay on well on my lips as blush, so I will have to try this.
Have fun on vaca!!
XOXO
Jodie
Works like a charm Jodie. I've been using my bronzer palette as the same thing for years too.
