Hey y’all! Wow! This week went sooooo fast. Take your foot off the gas and slow your roll December. I don’t want the next three weeks to fly by. This is likely our last extended Christmas break with Katie at home. This time next year she will be in PA (Physician’s Assistant) school, and we don’t know what kind of break schedule she will have. That means this mama is going to make the most out of this break, and soak in every single second. I have a few Friday favorites for you, but this will be short and sweet.

Without a doubt my favorite thing of the week was getting little missy here home. Kent left town yesterday to go visit his mom for the weekend, so it’s just us girls. We have no plans except doing whatever we feel like.
We got the tree up, and if you hop over to my Instagram story you can watch us do it in time lapse fashion. Let me just say that it sure would be nifty if it really went that fast. HA! I wanted to use the black and white buffalo check ribbon so I chose white mesh…well I’ll go back to red next year. I think it needs the color.
Did you see my Stocking Stuffer Guide for Him Monday? I included this little gadget on it. I ordered one for myself, and yesterday Katie and I broke it out. Y’ALL it’s so cool! For a little less than $25 my car is now bluetooth enabled. Fist bumps all around! You can also charge two phones (or whatever) at once and get this, there’s an app you can download and then if you park somewhere and forget where (oh I don’t know, say at the outlets??♀️) you can check the app and find your car. That my friends is

No matter how much we love our husbands, girl time is so special! I wanted to add ribbon to my tree this year, but it just didn't happen. P.S. If you get a chance, I wouldn't hate it if you shared a couple of your Trader Joe's holiday favorites ;).
I loved that time lapse thing you did on stories of your tree!! I actually really like the ribbon and how you did it from top to bottom. I should copy that next year! LOL! I was thinking the SAME thing with my tree, that I needed some red ribbon or more red on it this year. Oh well, always next year to change it! :) Enjoy your girls time!!

I know we'll have the AC going this weekend. We had a nice cool front all week, but now the warmer temps are back for a few days. Your tree looks INCREDIBLE, and I know you are so happy to have K home. I have heard so many great things about being a PA - great career choice! Hope you have a wonderful girl-time weekend!
