B L O W N that this weekend is Memorial Day. Without a doubt, for most of us, this will go down as one of the strangest ever. Today’s post is Friday Favorites and all the sales. A holiday weekend brings out the good ones, and I’m sharing some of my favorites.
I received this a while back from Pixi to try. I’ve been using it, and I really like it. I’m using it as a “setting spray” when I finish my makeup. It can also be used to freshen up during the day or at night. But what does it do? Well I’m glad you asked. It hydrates, protects and nourishes. It can also be used on hair for a luminous healthy glow, or at least that’s what the website says.
I also received the Glow Tonic. This cleans and exfoliates with glycolic acid, and brightens skin. Glycolic Acid is the holy grail for exfoliation, it’s used to remove the dead skin cells from the complexion, revealing brighter, fresher skin, and I’m always up for that. I’ve use it in the morning after I was my face.
I don’t often polish my nails, but since I’ve not had them done in almost 3 (THREE) months, I finally had to remove the dip that was on them. This is the first time in 2 1/2 years my nails have been “naked”. They are soft and thin, but keeping them polished helps a little. This stuff is great. It has really good coverage and dries super fast. Waiting on nails to dry? Ain’t nobody got time for that. HA!
I’ve gotten several more pairs of PJs to share with y’all, and these bright, cheery lemon ones are just one of them. Are these cute or what? I really do love these Cool Nights jammies from Soma. They’re having the real deal BOGO too right now on sandals (and swim…but we’ll talk about that in a minute) So many cute flats, and the prices are crazy good even without the sale, but when you can buy one and then get another for FREE….can you say “no brainer”.
And then of course they have a great selection of espadrilles, heels and comfy, cute sandals as well.
As if the BOGO on shoes wasn’t enough, they’re also having it on swimsuits.
I bought the bottoms that have the ties on the side, and they’re as good as any higher end ones I’ve tried. I also got the cute black and white check tankini, that is also super cute.
Y’all didn’t believe me about ALL THE COLLAGES, did you? I wasn’t kidding. This is the last one. I promise. Target has been hitting it out of the park in the cute blouse department. I rounded up some adorable options that are all under $30. Some of these I have, and some I want.

I haven't painted my nails in months either! I guess I should have capitalized on my dad being out of the house last week, haha! (He haaates the smell.) Your toenail polish is very pretty! It looks kind of like Bikini So Teeny or Lapis of Luxury!
