Happy Monday!!! Another month has gone by and that means it time for an August Amazon purchases post. We share an account with Katie (and sometimes Benny), so I today I’m sharing my purchases and some of Katie’s. I’m also throwing in a few things that I’m thinking I just might order.
I’ve heard good things about this protein powder, so I decided to give it a try. I’m always nervous about buying a huge jug of this kind of stuff, because I never know if I’ll like the taste. This is the smallest container I could find.? Thankfully, I’m happy to report it’s good. #praisehands Previously I’ve used this brand, but I think the Orgain is better. Here’s the smoothie recipe I’ve been using…
Protein Smoothie
1 c almond milk
1 heaping scoop protein powder
1-2 T almond butter (I use Trader Joe’s creamy salted)
1/2 banana
crushed ice or ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in blender or Nutribullet and blend.
These fun, colorful bracelets have been super popular this summer. This 5 pack is a great deal, and the colors are pretty. I like the added gold detail. Did you know these are actually like a silicone material? I thought they were going to be more of a plastic. The only thing I’d warn you about them is the sizes were different on each of the bracelets. That may not be a bad thing if you are dividing them up for gifts. One or two of these would be super cute tied to a bow on a gift.
I shared this book in my Friday Favorites post. I took it on vacation and read it poolside. It’s the first in a trilogy and now I’m ready to read book number two. Maybe I’ll even read it before next summer. LOL

Girly girl needed a bag to carry all her medical equipment in. She said she really like this one. It’s got a lot of pockets for holding all the things.
Is she the cutest or what? My girls gonna’ make a great PA. Mama here is telling her to work in dermatology so she can get me all the Botox. HA! Speaking of Botox…she is forever sending me the funniest snapchats. (please do not think I’m agains Botox, because I absolutely am not) I don’t know where she comes up with this stuff. #thatcode

She needed a tape measure for her medical bag, so these came as a pack and are just right.
She also needed lights like these. I think you could use these for other things beside medical purposes.
She and Erin both have a couple of pairs of these. Katie likes to wear them under her running shorts to keep her legs from chaffing. She said they have two side pockets for your phone, etc…and a little pocket inside the front too. She likes that she can attach her pepper spray to them when she’s running and put it between the biker shorts and outer running shorts.
Masks! They are one of the hottest accessories of 2020. Who’d have thought? This one is so crazy soft on the inside. As a matter a fact, it’s the softest on the inside of any mask I’ve had on. The size on this one isn’t too large, or too small. The material is tie dye and it’s iridescent. It reminds me of a unicorn or mermaid, so if you have a young girl, she’d love it.
Now for things I think are cute, and might make it into my cart.
Guess what? Before I could even start typing, I had already gone to Amazon and ordered this. I mean it’s just too cute. I have a feeling these will sell out quickly, so if you like it as much as I do….don’t wait. #addtocart
These are some super cute tees and in the most popular prints. I love the cut of them, and you know if you’ve been around here for any time at all, I have deep love for camo, tie dye and leopard.
