Happy Wednesday friends. How’s your week going? Our is smokin’. No really, it is. The smoke has been terrible this week. It’s smelled like we were having a huge bonfire in our back yard, and even in our garage. Thankfully yesterday it improved some, and I was able to leave the house. Seriously y’all, what else does 2020 have in store for us? I think we might need to all sleep with one eye open. For our Style Six linkup today I thought I’d share what I wore on vacation. I wore shorts all week, and that’s the first time in years I’ve done that.
This is me…at 4:00 in the morning. We had a 6:15 flight. Whew, that’s early. I knew it would be cold on the plane, but hot once we flew into Florida. This outfit was the perfect compromise. I purchased these capri leggings from the Nsale a few years ago, but they are back this year and still in stock. The swing tank is from where else? Amazon.
I really thought we’d mostly eat in while we were on vacation, but I was wrong. We only ate in one night. Y’all know we can’t get queso around here, and there’s a Mexican restaurant we love right near the condo we rent. We ate there twice. They also have possibly the best chips I’ve ever eaten. They are thin and crispy. YUM!!!
I have loved these super distressed denim shorts I got last year from AE. They are super comfy. I wish this tank was still available for y’all. I love it. I have the gray and white.
I can’t believe it, but this top is still in stock. Grab one before they sell out. It’s the perfect fall transition piece. Last night when I was checking the stock, I got a fun surprise when I clicked on the link…check it out.? These are some shorts I got at Old Navy last year. They were hemmed and cuffed, and I didn’t like the length, so I cut them off. #whoamI I never do stuff like that. HA! And can we just talk about the sandals. They add oomph to any outfit. When your 22 year old daughter loves them, you know you’ve hit the mother load.
These are my favorite shorts this summer. The 6″ Riviera shorts from Loft. Unfortunately both the shorts and top are sold out.
This is what you call a photographer fail. Thursday the weather wasn’t great and we didn’t even pool or beach it, but we did walk on the beach. I asked Katie to take our picture. The goof took one and only one and you would know my eyes weren’t even open. It’s true what they say, you get what you pay for. HA! This adorable graphic tee is still in stock in the Nordstrom sale. I love it. The sentiment is exactly what we need these days. I sized up to a medium for a relaxed, roomy fit.
