Hey y’all! Happy Wednesday and welcome to another week of our Style Six linkup. This past weekend was supposed to have been our yearly get together, here in California. 2020 had other plans though, and that didn’t happen. Of course now with all the fires, Covid may have done us a favor. Today I’ve got the perfect fall cardigan to share with you, and when paired with a tee and jeans, it’s basically a great fall uniform.
If there is one must have in your fall/winter closet, it’s got to be a cute color block sweater. They are E V E R Y W H E R E , and there’s bound to be one to tickle your fancy. Last year I bought the ever popular Madewell cardigan and loved it. Well let me just tell you that this one is every bit as good, if not better and a fraction of the price.
This particular one comes in a variety of stripe combinations and some solids. Let me tell you a few of the reasons I fell in love with this one. First off, there’s the fabric itself. It feels nice and soft, and it’s a good quality. The colors are beautiful, and very true to what the picture depicts. Sometimes colors don’t translate in photos, but this one does. I love the slits on the side. Some of the cardigans similar to this are banded at the bottom and not nearly as flattering. This one hangs great.
I paired it with this new silky soft tee from American Eagle. It’s such a nice soft and stretchy fabric with a rounded front and back hem. The mix of the animal print with the stripes make for a fun duo. These jeans are from Madewell, and they are the absolute perfect length for sandals or mules, but especially with ankle booties. No need to roll them up. Hallelujah. They’re currently on sale 35% off.

I've been seeing these color block cardis all over and I just love them! I love this one, because it has a block of orange. So pretty! I can't believe first Covid (and still Covid) and now wildfires. Just a crazy year.
