Red Chico’s Sweater for Christmas

Hi friends! This is it, Christmas week is H E R E!!! Do you know what you’re going to be wearing? Today I’ve got this gorgeous red Chico’s sweater to share with you. It’s perfect for Christmas, but also Valentine’s Day…or honestly, any time of year, and it comes in a wide variety of colors.

This sweater is so soft, like really soft. It’s a cashmere blend and feels so good on your skin, and it’s warm…but not too warm, so basically it’s perfection. The length is slightly longer, and it hangs beautifully. Oh! And it looks just as good with jeans as a dressier pair of pants or skirt.

The necklace I’m wearing is “convertible”, meaning you can wear it like this, or undo it and wear it as a long statement necklace. It’s a fantastic piece that looks beautiful worn both ways.

I paired it with these velvet jeggings. They aren’t tight like you’d think when you hear the word “jeggings”. They fit really well, and immediately elevate an outfit. So perfect for the holidays. They’d look fantastic with a sequin top for New Year’s Eve. I untucked the top and removed the necklace for a slightly different look, and you can see the length of the sweater.

I’ve got to touch on these slingback shoes. They are so darling, and look great dressed up or down. Whether you’re wearing velvet pants, faux leather leggings or distressed jeans, these shoes work. I love that! I also love that the heel height is just tall enough to pack a punch, but comfortable for extended wear. A cap toe shoe is a classic that never goes out of style.

I told you it’s a great sweater dressed up or down. Look how cute it is with jeans and layered under a vest. Of course to make it even cozier and more festive, I threw on a plaid scarf. This is my idea of the perfect casual chic look. I absolutely love a vest for layering, especially in a climate like the one I live in. A coat is often too much, and a vest is just the right amount of warmth.

These are my Madewell jeans and I wear them a couple times a week. They are comfortable with a button front, and the length is perfect. Not too long, and not too short. The booties are Marc Fisher, and so stylish. They are currently on sale almost half off. I gave Katie the exact same pair for her birthday, so they are good for all ages.?

Okay y’all that wraps it up for today, and probably for the year. I’m contemplating taking some time off over the holidays from the blog, and maybe even Instagram, so this is probably my last blog post for the year. #2020

I wish you and your families a wonderful, low key holiday. Try to take in the moments, focus on your family, and enjoy the slower pace. This is what we wish for every year, and now is our chance to soak it in. Y’all are the best, and I can’t wait to see what 2021 has in store for us. Fingers crossed it will be much better than 2020.
