Hi friends and Happy New Year! We did it! We made it out of 2020 alive. HA! But seriously, how many of you feel that way? I’m a looking at 2021 with a bit of a side eye until it proves itself…and I/m really hopeful it will. Since I haven’t really blogged much in the last two weeks, I thought I’d share just what I’ve been wearing. This started out as one post, but when I got into it, I realized it could easily be two, so this is part one. I prefer not to let them get too lengthy, so hopefully you don’t get bored. Let’s just say cozy with a side of chic could be the title.
Christmas day I decided I’d go with a comfy but little glamped up look. I have been loving this cashmere leopard sweater, and the tee I have it layered over. I won’t give you all the deets again, because I did in this post, but I can tell you that I feel good when I wear this combo. I also feel pure joy when I have these people around.
The girls and I get new jammies on Christmas Eve, and this year we got these fantastic flannel joggers from Aerie. They are so comfortable. Instead of the matching flannel top, I went with the American Eagle button up sherpa so we could wear them anytime we want. We’ve all worn them on repeat since opening them, and they are on sale half off along with the joggers. The joggers come in plaids and a super cute blue leopard print that’s good for all winter long.
LOFT has been running some killer sales, and I ordered quite a few things for the girls. Well you know I couldn’t not throw a thing (or two) in for myself. This sweater!!!!! Yes, this sweater is beautiful and soft…super soft.
This star sweater is so stinkin’ cute. It’s not only adorable, but it’s really soft, and perfect for now or going into spring. My cousins girlfriend has started an online boutique called Southern Edge. She sent me this sweater along with a coupon code for YOU. Use code LISA25 for 25% off.
Target had an ahhh-mazing sale over the holidays and sweaters were $10, and shoes were 50% off. Seriously, does it get any better than that? I ordered several sweaters to share, but this one is by far my favorite and probably the only one I’ll keep. It’s soft, you know how I feel about a v-neck and the color is just plain H A P P Y!!! I think it’s perfect for dreary winter days, Valentine’s Day and going into spring. I’m wearing an XS for reference. PS, these jeans are my current favs and I wear them all the time.
Can we also just talk about the volume in my hair? LOL I’ve been using a couple of new products and they will be making their debut in my Friday Favorites post.
So I think it’s been established that I’m a big fan of the sweater + jeans outfit formula or maybe we should call it like it is, my uniform. Wednesday our Style Six linkup will be back, and I’ll share the second installment of what I’ve been wearing.

Love all the sweaters. Super cute!
Thanks Heather. XO
Welcome back to Bloglovin. So happy to see this there. That picture of you and the girls in your Sherpas and joggers just makes me smile every time! I wish my sweater like that would hurry up and get here but now that I read this I’m so happy I ordered an xs. Have a beautiful fresh new week in the new year, and I’m with you girl, total side eye on the days ahead! xo

Thanks friend...better late than never here. XO
I love the idea of pajama pants with a sherpa or tee. It gets harder to do the matching pajamas as the kids become grown ups! Happy New Year!
Thanks Tanya...these comments got overlooked. Yikes. XO
Love that bright pink sweater and the stars!
I love both and keep wearing them weekly. XO
Thanks Lisa for sharing such great comfortable yet fashionable styles. You show us we can have both! I was wondering if you could share sometime how you style your hair in the wavy look. Your hair is so beautiful in the picture with you wearing the cream Loft sweater. I somehow am never able to quite achieve the look myself. Wishing you a Happy New Year and looking forward to many more blog posts!
I'm just loving that star sweater and bright pink sweater! Too cute on you!
Thanks Laura!!!
