Happy GOOD Friday! Are you all ready for Easter weekend and Friday Favorites? We’re in Nashville and get to spend it with our kids, which is always so fun. That of course is always a favorite, and I love being able to reprise my role as the Easter Bunny. What a great way to start out the month of April. Don’t you think? Let’s see what kind of randomness I have to share this week.
Actually before we even get to that, I want to say a very special HAPPY (milestone) BIRTHDAY to my sweet friend Andrea. If you’ve been around for a while, you know she’s one of my travel blogging buddies, and also one of the weekly Style Six hostesses. Andrea, I hope you have the best weekend celebrating your birthday, and feel all the love that I’m sure you’ll be wished by many.
I shared a while back that I was going to start using the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner. Well I’ve been using them for several weeks and I’m happy to report that I’m a B I G H U G E fan. I think these are definitely worth the hype and price. You know, when you use good products on your hair, you can really feel and see the difference. I want to try the No 3 treatment next, because I hear it really rounds out the products. When you color treat, and use a lot of heat on your hair, it really matters what kind of shampoo, conditioner, etc…you choose to put in your hair. These are some of my new favorites. I also have a couple of more to share with you in a future post.
I shared this blouse yesterday in my stories, but I was wearing it Wednesday in stories and got so many messages asking for the details. It’s such a beautiful eyelet blouse. When I was a little girl, my mom loved eyelet, and I didn’t really get it…or like it. Well all that has changed, and now I totally understand. This is a great option as we move into full on spring and summer. I mean can you ever have too many white blouse options? I don’t think so. I put a simple white cami under it because the eyelet holes are on the larger size. You could layer it over a pretty pastel or even a bright color for a different look.
I recently received this crossbody wallet from Chico’s and I am absolutely obsessed. Honestly, I hate to use that word, but it really fits in this case. It holds all my cards, and will even hold my phone and sunglasses or glasses. It fits in and matches my new summer bag that’s also from Chico’s. It has a removable strap, that I just keep in the bottom of my purse. It’s so easy to grab when I’m running errands or we are out and about and I don’t want to have to carry my big bag. It’s on sale 40% off, so I’d suggest ordering yourself a little Easter present. 😉 You can plan on seeing it a lot this summer in pictures. Oh and I should mention they are both leather…great quality and price.
If you need a quick and easy Easter treat for your family or to take to neighbors, I made these this week in my stories and shared them. Seriously, so easy and delicious. I just bought the mini chocolate chip cookies at Costco, melted vanilla almond bark and dipped them half way, then put fun spring sprinkles on them. They were a huge hit. I took them to the little girls next door…and of course we had to have a few ourselves. Kent was a HUGE fan.
Alright friends, that’s a wrap for Easter weekend and Friday Favorites. Katie is going to babysit the two cutest little girls you’ve ever seen, and mom is tagging along. Maybe they’ll make an appearance in my stories. Seriously y’all, these girls are the C U T E S T !!!
Have a blessed Easter weekend!
