Happy Wednesday friends! We’re having some more whacky weather over here. It was in the mid 80’s Sunday, and yesterday it was only in the low 50’s and windy. Aye-yai-yai! Well let’s just pretend its full on spring and talk about the two big spring trends you need. I’ve done a couple of other posts on spring trends here and here, but these are probably two of my favorites. Not only is today our Style Six linkup, but a few of my other buddies are also sharing spring trends, so you’re bound to find something new.
Thick braided sandals are ALL. OVER. THE. PLACE. They come in lots of colors, and styles, but most of what I’ve seen are a slide style. You can find flats, block heel and a sort of kitten heel. Not only are these super cute, but I just think they look like they would be soft and comfy. I tried on the pair from Express and they are really cute. I’m just waiting on a good sale, and then I plan to grab them.

The next trend that I’m currently loving is pastels. In particular, lavender. I’ve purchased a few lavender pieces and I love wearing them. This sweater from Target is my favorite. There are a lot of options out there, and they’re pretty easy to find, but I’ve made it even easier for you and rounded up some really fun options. If I had that money tree out back I’m always dreaming of, I’d grab every single one of these.

Lots of great trend picks for spring, Lisa! When I first saw these braided sandals trending, I was not a fan. But they are really starting to grow on me and I almost bought a pair a few weeks back except my size was not in stock. Knowing myself, I will likely wait until the end of the season sales to get a pair. Thanks for sharing your faves!
