Somebody slap me! I can’t believe those words just came out of my mouth. We leave for vacation Saturday, and seeing as how I’m summers biggest fan, I always hate to concede when it’s coming to an end. I’ll be continuing to hope for longer summer days and warm temps as long as possible. Having said all of that, I wanted to share an idea for dressing for the end of summer.
I’ve already shared these jeans with you. They are one of my favorite pairs this summer. As a matter of fact, I loved them so much I got them in the darker version as well. They are a cotton and linen blend making them have the look of denim, but the fabric is cooler than traditional denim.
This coral/watermelon colored top is just perfect for the changing season approaching. The dolman sleeve hits just above the elbow, so if you aren’t a fan of sleeveless, this is a great option. The fabric is absolutely so soft and buttery. I had it on this week and shared it on my IG story. It feels like a velvety cotton and comes in a handful of colors.
It can also be worn with a pair of pants that are a little dressier for a slightly elevated look. It looks cute with a long necklace or without. These pants are so darn good. My mom kept telling me to try them and I finally did. I shared them in this post with a black tunic for a classic look. They are super comfortable, stretchy and flattering. They come in different colors, lengths, and leg widths. So something for everyone.
As you can probably tell, I’ve developed a real love for Chico’s. I shopped there years ago, and up until recently hadn’t at all. My mom wears their clothing almost exclusively. I do think some of the style aren’t really for me, but they most definitely have some cute pieces that are on trend, fun and comfortable. I hope you’re enjoying the outfit ideas I’m sharing.

The color of that top is so pretty on you! Looks great with both the denim and the white bottoms. I know not everyone is happy to see summer come to an end but I love fall!
xo,

That coral top is such a great colour on you! I really like it with the white but it looks good in both outfits! Hope it doesn't cool off too quickly for you! We are still firmly in winter here but it starts to warm up after the middle of August so I'm looking forward to that!
Thank you for the link up!
Hope your week is going well!
I love coral in the summer! Such a great top and looks so comfy too!

You know coral is one of my favorites! Looking good girl, the struggle is real with seasonal transitions. They just said we’re going to have a heat wave for the next two weeks here so I’m not sure if I’m getting fall outfit photos yet, LOL! I hope you have a great day back in your Cali nest I know the time change is an adjustment so big hugs!
I adore the color of this top! The relaxed vibe of the first look is so chic. Thanks for the link up!

I feel the same way about Chico's--I have lots of their pieces but don't like others at all. These pants are a great find! Love that they look like denim but aren't! Genius! Coral top is super cute, too.'

I love that bright top! I would not have guessed those were Chicos pieces.
The coral / watermelon color really suits you! It feels like the end of summer here in the UK, this week the weather has been terrible!
