New to Me Skincare and Haircare

Hey y’all and happy Friday!!! I’ve been back a week from Utah and it’s time to start sharing some of the goodness I experienced with you here on the blog. If you missed it, I spent 4 days last week with my Chit Chat Chic girls in Park City, Utah and we had the absolute best time. We worked, we laughed, we ate, and we worked. Yes, it was a working trip. That brings me to today’s post and this new to me skincare and haircare. I’ve heard sooo many great things about Revision Skincare and we were lucky enough to be gifted some, so I’m working my way through trying it. We were also gifted some Aveda hair products by the Paris Parker Salon in Louisiana that I am loving. I’ve been dying to try both of these lines, so I was absolutely thrilled to receive them. #gifted So obviously they are only new to me in the sense that I haven’t tried them yet. I’ve heard great things about them.

So far I’ve tried this Papaya Enzyme Cleanser, the Intellishade and the Youthfull Lip Replenisher. They’ve all lived up to my expectations. My lips were dried out from our vacation and all the travel, so the I’ve been using the Youthfull Lip Replenisher religiously and loving it. My lips feel fantastic! Here’s a list of the products I received.

The Papaya Enzyme Cleanser has a nice light scent and leaves your skin feeling, well, CLEAN, and isn’t that what we are looking for in a cleanser? It contains Salyicilic Acid that exfoliates for a smoother complexion.

The Intellishade is a 5-in-1 treatment. It’s formulated to correct, protect, conceal, brighten and hydrate skin. I guess it’s called Intellishade because one shade fits all. I’ve been trying various tinted moisturizers with SPF this summer, and I like this one so far. I’m going to continue using it, and I’ll keep you posted. It’s also available in a matte formula and that’s probably what I would prefer with my combination skin. Any product that will help me as I age is okay by me, and if it’s supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles, then even better.

The Aveda products we were gifted included the Shampowder dry shampoo, Aircontrol Hairspray and Heat Relief thermal protectant. Y’all know I’m a huge fan of dry shampoo, and this is the first time I’ve used it in powder form. It’s definitely different, but not in a bad way, just different. The Aircontrol hairspray is a light spray and I love it. My favorite of the three is the Heat Relief. Y’all, it’s the bomb. I have never used a heat protector that has such a nice light mist. It creates the perfect barrier before applying a curling iron or flat iron to your hair.

D’Arcy is a H U G E fan of these CO2 Lift Masks. I’ll warn you right now, they aren’t cheap, but they are G O O D. So just exactly what is the CO2 Lift? I’m glad you asked

Presented by Lumisque Skincare, CO2Lift is a medical-grade brand of cosmeceuticals that harnesses the natural powers and benefits of carbon dioxide to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate the skin. CO2Lift Face offers superior take-home facial skin rejuvenation experience. (taken off website)

So this is a great alternative to an in office treatment and much more affordable. You need 3-7 treatments initially and then once a month.

Once you’re ready for your rejuvenation, simply mix the formula in a container, apply it to the skin using the included applicator, and let the solution sit for around 45 minutes. Carbon dioxide is absorbed into the skin and, from there, into the bloodstream, stimulating oxygen molecules and blood circulation to result in younger-looking, radiant skin (taken off website)

You mix the two components together, apply them to your face and allow them to sit 45 minutes to an hour. (we all went back to our rooms to pack..LOL) Then you peel it off. You’ll know when it’s ready because it starts to release around the edges. If you like peeling things, you’re gonna’ love this. HA! My skin has felt great all week. I have another one to use, so I can’t wait to do it again.

I have a code for y’all for the CO2 masks. Use COASTTOCOAST for 10% off.

So did any of this intrigue you? Were these new to me skincare and haircare products new to you?
