Hi friends and happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. I got to spend some great quality time with Katie and Erin, so my heart is full. #ilovetennesse I received some new items last week from Social Threads and couldn’t wait to share this shacket and Risen jeans with you.
If you’re not familiar with Social Threads, they are an online store with a lot of cute, trendy pieces. This is where my favorite crossbody bag came from. The bag has all kinds of strap options, and both the bags and straps sell out lickety split. Through tomorrow you can use the code VIP10 to get 10% off your order.
You know I’m border line obsessed with shackets. I’m up to four. HA! They are so great as a third piece in an outfit, but also and extra layer on cool days. Speaking of a third piece, there’s power in threes, and you can read about that in this post. This shacket is the perfect fall color, and a great thickness for warmth over a sweater.
I’ve been wanting to try a pair of Risen jeans for sometime, so I was really excited to receive these from Social Threads. These jeans are another item that sell out quickly. The denim is nice and soft, and if you like a high waist, this are definitely high-waisted. It’s hard to get a good look at the hem of these, but it’s a really fun distressed, raw hem. I personally need to wear them a heeled bootie for the best look, but if you are taller, they’ll look super cute with sneakers. Katie actually wore them out this weekend with sneakers and looked very cute and trendy.
I’ve got to mention this sleeveless turtleneck sweater again. I’ve shared it before, here and here. I have been wearing it all fall and it’s perfect for layering under any kind of jacket. It’s soft and very comfy, and I love the color, which also lends itself to pairing with practically anything in your closet.

Beautiful outfit. It’s got just the sweetest touch of Western and feels like such a fab Nash look. You nailed it pretty friend! Happy New Week.
I finally got to wear my shacket in Boston and it kept me toasty warm. I've never heard of Risen jeans - how crazy is that? So happy you got to be with your girls this weekend!
