Camel Coat Closet Staple

Hi friends!!! Well that title is almost a tongue twister. Say camel coat closet staple 3 times fast. HA! No matter, I’m here to share my new longer length camel coat that should be a closet staple. I think every woman can benefit from having a nice camel coat in her closet. 

A camel coat goes with everything, and can be dressed up or down. The camel color is literally timeless. I don’t think it will ever not be in vogue. 

I’ve been wanting a coat like this for a while, but living in CA the need for one rarely arises. Now that I’m getting to spend a lot more time in Nashville, it will come in handy, 

I loved the double collar and tie waist on this one. It’s chic and elegant, but also refined. I can throw it on with a pair of jeans and boots, or just as easily layer it over a dressier outfit. 

In these photos I have on this dressy velvet jumpsuit. It’s almost sold out, but I’ll link some good options for you. A jumpsuit like this is also a good closet staple. (Are you sensing a them here?) Velvet is so in right now, and it’s great for date nights, weddings, parties, or how about Valentine’s Day? I have fallen head over heels for all things velvet, as you might remember from this jacket here. 

As I’m writing this, it’s given me an idea for another post on the basic coats/jackets every woman might want to have in her closet. I’m always hesitant to say things like “every woman NEEDS”, because I don’t want to be bossy. 😉
