I Like Pink

I was trying to decide what to blog about today and thought about this REEL I recently did, and realized it would make for a good blog post. I like pink! Do you? I especially like pink as Valentine’s Day and spring start to approach. It’s pretty and happy, and somehow it just makes me feel good when I’m wearing it.

I got a couple of new sweaters/sweatshirts from Avara, and I chose pink for the upcoming season. This quarter zip sweatshirt by Z Supply is the first piece I’ve had by them. I’m very familiar with this brand and have heard lots of good things about it. I think they are known for their knits. This sweatshirt is a lightweight material. It’s not fuzzy inside, so it’s going to be really great as the temps start to climb. I’ve got an AVARA discount I’ll share at the end of this post.

This next sweater is the same as the black one I got back in the fall and have l o v e d . It’s super soft, and I love the longer length. It works with leggings or jeans, and because it’s not bulky, it really lends itself to a front tuck. I call the color orchid, because well, that’s what it reminds me of. It’s a cross between pink and purple, so it’s the best of both worlds.

This last sweater is just adorable, or at least I think it is. I’m a huge fan of the Fair Isle trend, and I think the pink and navy make for a beautiful combination.

These jeans are also a new favorite. They’re Old Navy boyfriend straight leg. I’m really trying to embrace the straight leg style. These are so comfortable. I’d suggest sizing down. Katie and I both found them to run large. Straight leg jeans can be worn with booties like I am here, but they also look cute with sneakers and mules. I think they’ll look good with sandals in the spring and summer.
