Empties Are A Good Thing

Hi friends and happy Friday! All of the sudden I have a bunch of things that need to be replaced. Empties are a good thing. Why, you ask? Because it means they were a hit. There’s nothing worse than buying a product only to realize you don’t like it, it doesn’t work, or both. That’s actually one of the reasons I like to purchase health and beauty products from Ulta. If something doesn’t work out, you can return it, so the risk is minimal.

HAIR BIOLOGY FULL & VIBRANT SHAMPOO – I did an entire post on the Hair Biology Volumizing line here. This is my 3rd bottle of shampoo. Since I double wash, I go through it faster than the conditioner. I really do like the way my hair feels and acts after using this and the price point is excellent.

HAIR BIOLOGY THICKENING TREATMENT – Also my 3rd bottle of this and I even gave a bottle to my mom. I can tell this gives my hair more volume when I use it before drying.

CITY BEAUTY SKIN PERFECTING DAILY VEIL – Going on my second tube of this. I’ve been sharing it in my IG stories for a while. Here’s what I love about it. Just as the name suggests, it gives your skin what looks like a veil. It has just a really beautiful finish, and it has SPF 39. I love that it’s two products in one. LIVING PROOF DRY SHAMPOO – I’ve been using this for a few years, and continue to purchase it. I now wash my hair twice a week instead of everyday, and this is a great way to touch it up between washings.

COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD MICRO-MINERAL RESURFACING SCRUB – This is my favorite exfoliator. It’s just the perfect texture. Not to whimpy, but also not harsh. I keep it in the shower and use it about 3 days a week.

COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD VITAMIN C – This is the first straight up Vit C that I’ve used, and I really do think it’s helped with my dark spots on my face. Here’s the thing with Vit C. You need one that is in a container that’s not getting air. A tube like this is a good option. If you’re using a bottle with a dropper, every time you take that dropper out, air is getting in and then the efficacy is reduced. Just a little tidbit for you there.

COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD AGE RENEWAL SUPER SERUM – Y’all know I’m a HUGE fan of serums. They’re my favorite because they absorb right in to your skin. I use this one every day as part of my makeup routine. It goes on right after my Vit C. I love that it takes care of six signs of aging: texture, dehydration, elasticity, fine lines, radiance, and tone.

TRINNY LONDON EYE2EYE (COLOR VIRTUE) – As I’ve shared with you before, I love a cream eye shadow, and this color is one of my all time favorites. I’m a neutral eye shadow girl through and through and this one delivers just the right amount shimmer and light.

TRINNY LONDON BFF REBALANCE – This is my favorite “foundation” that’s also a serum. (I bounce back and forth between it and one by IT Cosmentics, but this is my preference) It’s a moderately buildable coverage that balances shine with a slight matte coverage. (sign me up) It’s good for oily skin and skin that might be prone to blemishes.
