Hi friends!!! You know, It seemed like January and February lasted forever. Now it feels like April is going by so fast. I can’t believe we’re in the last week of the month. Today I’m sharing yesterday’s Sunday style. I just received this beautiful safari dress from Chico’s. I saw it when it showed up online, but it wasn’t available for a couple of weeks. I was so excited when it finally arrived last week.
I love, love, love the print of this dress. You already know I’m a huge fan of animal print, and it’s fun to have something other than leopard. (I still love you leopard…don’t worry) For some reason in my mind this dress was a linen/cotton blend. You’d think I’d think to check the fabric content wouldn’t you? Well it’s actually polyester, so it doesn’t wrinkle and it hangs beautifully. That means it’s also really soft against your skin.
The belt is removable and it could totally be worn hanging straight, but you can also switch out the belt for a rattan belt. That’s what I did for church yesterday and it looked equally as cute as the matching removable belt that comes with it. (Check my Instagram story today to see how that looks.) I would recommend sizing down in this dress. I’m wearing my normal Chico’s size 0, and I really wish I’d ordered a 00. I would have also ordered a petite if it had been available, but I loved it so much I just went with the regular. It’s definitely a full length maxi on me at 5’3″.
Oh and of course I have to let you in on the best part…it has pockets. You know us girls love our pockets.
So let’s chat about this darling purse. I swear when I saw it, I went all cartoon like and had heart eyes. It’s so stinking cute. It has a magnetic closure, and is divided into two sections and even within the sections there are pockets. I was able to fit my phone, glasses, gum, lipstick, tissues and large keychain in it with room to spare. I swear, this is going to be my go to small bag this summer.
This dress would be a great option for Mother’s Day. I also saw it in another animal print, if you don’t want blue zebra….but I don’t know why you wouldn’t. 😉

I love this dress. I actually went in to my local store yesterday to try it on, but I was looking for the leopard print (Soft beige) as it has more of the colors I wear. Anyway, they didn’t have it. I’m only 5’1 and figured it would be too long. I guess the only way to know if to order it online.
