Five Swimsuits for Women Over 50

Hi friends! Happy Friday! It’s summer and this girl is ready for some sun. Today I’ve got five swimsuits for women over 50. Just because we’re over 50, doesn’t mean we want to wear frumpy old swimsuits. We can still wear pretty colors, prints, and suits that are both figure flattering and modest.

This is the new suit I purchased this year and I love it. Green is one of the “it” colors this summer and I’m here for it. I’ve always loved an animal print, and this one is so fun. The halter style is very flattering, and the cut makes it great for days when you’ve already had enough sun on your chest. These pieces are currently 30% off. Anne Cole swimwear runs large. I normally buy mediums or size 8 in swimwear, but this top I got a small.

J Crew suits are another brand that are quality, fit well, age appropriate, and cover the booty well. This suit comes in 8 colors. The ruching across the front is good for camouflaging a tummy, and the deep “V” is flattering. It shows enough skin to not feel frumpy, but covers enough to be modest.
THIS SUIT

Last summer I got my first suits from Cabana Life. These suits are so well made. The fabric is great quality and they have built in UPF, so even the skin that’s covered is protected past the fabric. These suits are also great as far as booty coverage and modesty, but still feminine and flirty.
NEW VERSION ONE PIECE SUIT

This Gottex brand is yet another brand that is very well made. I bought this exact suit about 3-4 years ago and have loved wearing it. The plunging v-neck is a nice way to show skin without being too revealing…especially if you are smaller chested. The seaming on the body is flattering and draws the eye in. The bottoms are equally as nice, and provide good coverage.

This suit is from MiracleSuit. I’d say this might be the gold standard in swimwear for women in the prime of life…like us😉. These suits are know for making you look 10 pounds lighter. Sign me up. The fabric is a good compression fabric that holds everything in and in place. I did a post last year with MiracleSuit that you can see here.
