Amazon Travel Must Haves

Hi friends! Happy Monday! It’s easy to think summer is drawing to a close when all the fall sales start happening, but that is not the case. We’ve still got some runway left, and today I’ve rounded up some Amazon Travel must haves. Over the last 10 years, our family has done a lot of traveling due to our moves. We are blessed to be able to travel to see our friends and family, and I’ve found some things that make our trips easier, more efficient and go smoothly.

Before we get to the travel must haves, did you know I have an Amazon Store Front? You can find all my Amazon picks there and shop through the links at anytime. We both win. You find fun things to buy, and I make a little commission…and it doesn’t cost you anything at all. I can’t thank you enough for supporting my business by doing this. You can find all the retailers I shop, and any discount codes I have by clicking the Retail Shopping Links & Discount Codes tab on the menu bar under the Coast to Coast banner above. Anytime you click on any of those links, the same thing applies about me making a small commission. I tell you this, because a lot of people don’t even know this is how bloggers make money. If you want, you can bookmark that page for easy shopping through my links. (shameless plug over😉)

PHONE MOUNT – Kent loves to watch movies on his phone when he travels. I need to get one of these, so he’ll have hands free for those long flights.

TRAVEL SCALE – I gave him one of these a while back. It’s much easier than trying to use the bathroom scale and you can have for your return trip after you’ve bought all the things and added to your suitcase.

TRAVEL PLUG ADAPTER – When you travel abroad the plugs are different than the ones we have at home. So whether it’s for yourself or a child doing a study abroad program, these would be great to have.

HANGING TOILETRY BAG – Counter space is usually limited in hotels, so a hanging toiletry bag makes it easy to access your things and leave the countertop clutter free.

CHARGER CASE – I like to keep all my cords and chargers together. It helps me make sure I have everything and don’t accidentally leave anything behind.

REFILLABLE PERFUME ATOMIZER – I don’t want to carry a big bottle of perfume in my suitcase…who wants to risk it breaking, and if you’re using a carry on you can’t have a big bottle anyway. These are great to take a couple.

TRAVEL SINK PACKET – These are a great idea to throw in your toiletries bag. That way if you run into a problem, or end up staying longer than you planned, you can wash out your unmentionables in the sink.

TRAVEL JEWELRY ORGANIZER – We pay a lot for our jewelry and don’t want to just throw it in a Ziploc bag. I like to keep my jewelry with me in my backpack or tote, and not in my checked bag.

PACKING CUBES – These have been a game changer for me. You can fit so much more into your suitcase when you use a cube. It also helps to keep me organized, and you can simply unzip them and lay them in a drawer when you’re on vacation.

INDIVIDUAL MAKEUP WIPES – These are so clever. Throw a few in your toiletries bag and even in your backpack and purse.

ROLLER SUITCASE – Okay friends, this one is a good tip. We only buy suitcases with double wheels. We figured out they work so much better than single wheels or ball wheels, and they don’t get caught in the the cracks of sidewalks.

CLEAR TOILETRY BAGS – I think these are great too. You can see what’s in them, and use them for toiletries, to keep accessories together, or any other number of things.

TRAVEL MAKEUP MIRROR – We already established that counter space is at a premium in hotels. A travel mirror lets you use a desk or table to put your makeup on, and if you’re traveling with your husband or someone else, you can still get ready while the bathroom is occupied.

Tarte is having a Friends & Family 30% off sale! I’ve pulled together some of my favorites. The big palette is so good. It has everything you need in one place and makes a great gift. I’ve given it to both of my girls, and I have it myself.

  • Ooh, these are such good ideas! I love that charger case, that's brilliant! As is the hanging phone mount! I don't know that I'm emotionally ready to travel yet (well, by plane anyway--too much anxiety for that chaos, haha!), but I am definitely saving these for later! Hope you're having a great weekend, Blog Mom! xoxo
