New Arrivals from Gibsonlook

Hi friends! Happy Monday to you. How was your weekend? I got to participate in a fashion show at our local Dillard’s on Saturday, and it was a lot of fun. The jeans and the vest are both from Gibson, and they are both F A N T A S T I C !!!! I already had the vest in an oatmeal color and loved it so much, I wanted the black. These will be great transitional pieces as we go into fall.

The JEANS! This is currently one of my favorite pairs of jeans. They are so comfortable. They have a perfect amount of stretch, but don’t get baggy. You’ll need to size down in them. I’m wearing a 26…and you and I both know I am not a 26. I’m normally a 28. They have a raw hem, and are supposed to be a cropped length, but I have them turned up. I toyed with cutting them off, but I like the look of the wide cuff and this way I can wear them as a regular length.

The jeans are the same (in all the photos). This sweater is super sweet. Check out the detail on the sleeves. Wear it buttoned or unbuttoned. It’s a really nice cotton, so it lends itself to summer, fall or spring.

This top is darling! One of the things I really love about pieces I’ve received from Gibson are the quality. They tops are all lined. This is a clipdot fabric, which has been super popular for the last year. The square neckline is very flattering (I had on a bralette, but a normal bra won’t show). The ruffles add a sweetness and make it a fun white blouse to throw on, but still look a little extra cute.

Like I already said, the clipdot fabric is super popular. This v-neck button up blouse is perfect alone or for layering. For casual wear or workwear. Again, it’s fully lined, and comes in white.

This next blouse (fully lined) is so cute. You know I am going to always go with a v-neck whenever possible. They are so flattering. The sleeves are a good length, and have smocking…you also know how I feel about smocking. 💜 This one comes in 6 prints and 1 solid. Wear it for daily, casual wear or layer under a blazer for work with pants or a skirt.

And lastly, this cute dress. I have it in a pretty floral, but this coral color is scrumptious. This also layers well under a blazer for the office or teachers.

FIT TIP: I am wearing XS in all the tops and dress, and 26 in the jeans.
