A New Dress for Fall

Hey friends! This week is zooming by. I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday, and the last day of August. I have a feeling September is going to go by at warp speed. I have a new dress for fall to share today, and it’s the perfect end of summer early fall style and weight.

When I first started getting dresses from Chico’s, I expected them to have somewhat of a cotton content, and some do. Some of them are a poplin material, this one is not cotton. I would have known that if I read the description. HA! This dress is polyester, so the fabric is wrinkle resistant and flowy.

I love the ruffle at the bottom of the sleeve and the bottom of the dress. Another thing I’ve learned about the dresses at Chico’s is that they seem to be slightly oversized. I typically get a zero in their dresses, but I’m going start sizing down to 00, and see if the fit is a little better.

The shoes and the hat are also from Chico’s. They’ve started carrying a greater variety of accessories including shoes, bags, jewelry, hats, and glasses. These sandals are comfortable and the chunkier heel makes them easy to walk in.

I’m curious. Do you shop at Chico’s? My mom is a huge fan and I think a lot of women in the 40+ age bracket are as well. They are carrying some super cute styles that are more trendy that a few years ago, and I’m here to tell you the fabrics are fabulous. They are soft, stretchy, comfortable, and washable.
