Basic Pieces for fall transition

Hi friends!  Today let’s take a look at a couple of basic pieces for fall transition, but before we do, I’ve got to tell you about my week so far.  I’ve been getting to spend time with some other midlife influencers in Nashville. It’s so fun to get to spend time with other women who do the same thing as me, and connect and learn from them.

Now on to the basic pieces for fall transition from Cozy Earth. What I would call an obsession started with their sheets, but that’s not what I’m focusing on today. Today we’re going to take a look at some of their ‘cozy’ clothing. I received my first two pieces this summer and was immediately smitten. I’d kind of steered clear of the knits thinking they’d be thin. Boy was I wrong. When I put those two pieces on, I was so impressed. They are absolutely beautifully made, and the quality is fantastic. The fabric is thick (not too thick, just right), and so soft. You can see that post here.

I most recently added this black short skirt and tee to my collection. They fit like a dream, and are so stinking comfortable they feel more like your wearing your favorite lounge wear. You can wear them together or separate, and of course they are both extremely versatile. These are the kinds of pieces you will never get rid of, because they never go out of style.

When all of the western style boots started showing up, I wasn’t so sure about it. What do you know? The fashion world had completely embraced them. Living in Nasvhille, you’d see cowboy boots, but you knew immediately that was a tourist. The locals didn’t participate in that trend, unless they were downtown at a honky tonk, but now I feel like everyone is on board!

I decided to try my cowboy boots with this outfit, and loved the look. I’ve had these boots about 10 years, and they are still available. That right there tells you they are
G-O-O-D!

The jacket is a lightweight puffer style shacket from Cotes of London, and it’s another great piece for fall. It’s just right for cool days, and it comes in a lot of colors. I really love the casual style and it looks cute with everything from the cowboy boots, too sneakers.  It’s also available in a longer length, and I’ll share that with you soon.
