Holiday Outfit Ideas

Let’s start with this sweater with the sheer sleeves. I feel like a sheer sleeve always amps up any look, and makes it special. A sheer sleeve is also a great way for women in the midlife years to show their arms, without showing their arms. I paired it with these faux leather pants. Faux leather is absolutely everywhere right now, and such a fun way to jazz up a look. The best news is that most of the faux leather is super soft and supple. These feel like buttah and they are on sale over 50% off. And the SHOES!!! They are so cute. They’re from Chico’s, and I feel in love the minute I saw them.

These two pieces can be mixed and matched with so many things. The pants could be worn with any of the tops in this post, or any other dressier blouse you might have in your closet. I ordered a medium and sadly they are too big and too long even with a 3.5″ heel on. But at least now we know how they run. 😉

The top! I love a halter neckline. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard me say that before. It’s super flattering and our shoulders tend to age well. LOL This would be equally cute styled with jeans, faux leather, or a satin skirt,
