January Loft Try On

Hi friends! Last week I was at the mall and popped into Loft to see what was new. Oh boy! So much goodness, I had to do a try on. In the dead of winter when days are cold and dreary I crave color. There are some beautiful and vibrant pieces in this Loft Try On. Later today I’ll be sharing some of these looks in my stories on IG if you want to listen to me share more details.

Are you a Valentine’s Day lover? HA! Lover…get it?! #sorry I’ve been ordering some Valentine-ish sweaters to share on IG. Loft always seems to come out with some sweet options this time of year. This striped one with the heart, is just that. It’s a subtle nod to Valentine’s Day that you can wear until spring.

The jeans are a flare style with front patch pockets that give them a 70’s vibe. Totally remind me of some pants I had in elementary school. #agingmyself

Same jeans paired with this pretty blouse. This one will be great all the way until late spring. It has a built in cami and could easily be put with a pair of pants or a skirt for workwear.

I just said to Kent yesterday that I am the eternal optimist. It’s true. I’m a glass half full girl all the way. This sweatshirt is a lightweight terrycloth that will work even when it starts warm up.

These are the girlfriend jeans and I grabbed a curvy size which means I should have sized down. These were too big, but I love that they are a mid-rise. I’m hopeful mid-rise will make a comeback and high-rise will fade into the past.

This is a happy little mixed media top. The front is polyester and the back is a knit. The ruffle around the v-neck is sweet and you could tie it shut if you wanted.

The jeans are a skinny leg and also a mid-rise. YAY! If you’re a fan of the skinny jeans, it’s all good. They are still relevant and in style even though there are a ton of other options out there.

I LOVE this cute cardigan. It is available in a couple other colors including a hot pink. The orange is beautiful though. It’s a nice cotton and will work so well all the way up to summer and then even as a layer over a cute sleeveless shell.

This little top was one of my favorite pieces. I think it’s absolutely adorable. There’s another very similar print that’s the same style.

Here’s another piece that gave me some serious 70’s vibes. It’s super cute and will work with jeans, or a cute pair of joggers. It also is cute layered under a jacket.

I love this jacket. It’s part of the new Lou & Grey workout line. The colors are so fun in this line. The material is super soft (like all Lou & Grey pieces) and stretchy. Here’s my warning…this fabric is not like your typical workout material. If you’re looking for compression, these are not the pieces for you. If you’re looking for cute run around athleisure pieces, then these will fit the bill. If you have lumps and bumps in the lower portion of your body, you’re going to want to steer away from the green option (I didn’t even bother to share it because it’s not at all forgiving), but the navy will work fine.

LOU & GREY

The stripes on the side of the leggings and the yellow trim on the cropped workout tank are super fun. The 1/4 zip pullover is a great piece and will work well for layering. The jacket is FANTASTIC!!! I absolutely love it.
